Well, I know it's a little off topic, but could we make some set of equipment when we need to purchase it? I dont know for you but when I go to equip my champion and NPC, I don't want to "loose" some time to think: hum, what does he have? What should I buy for him? Could we create some set and buy the set instead?

Agree with phylast. Do you research in the adventure tech some ressource tech? Do you build you irigayion/grannary/farming guild in your best food producing city? Do you continu to research superior farming (+10% food production)? At start, I use green tumb too. I also use brilliant and meditative and also naturalist so I have all my starting ressource at the first round. After, I'm a big turteler so I research civic and adventure for some other resource. After some research in civic/adventure,
Well, it would be like the caravan exploit for food since we can now create "beach" to create harbor and since each city can have an harbor, it would lead to the infamous city spam. IF, like Sethai said, there was some shoals of fish, yes. Otherwise, no.
Yop, defenitly agree to add some flavor to the lost library (LL) and arcane temple (AT). Like Luckmann said, it's way too powerful to add a 100% bonus worldwide, but adding some % to a connect city and/or have a special tech attach to it seems really funny. It could also be tied to the questing tech or something similar to add more challenged when conquered. Or maybe, combine the questing to be able to conquer them, place monster guardian to protect them and after, add some research in it to
Bear cavalry?
Well, I agree with Redwind85 on that one. Problably that none of those figth will be a win for the peasant, but they will surely do some important dommage to the UBER monster and the 10 VS 1 Knigth because eventually, monster and knigth will fatigue and are not "god like" so they will take some hit. I suppose that, for the 10 VS 1 peasant VS knigth figth, probably 25% of the knigth will survive the figth.
-New spell: The cake is a lie (Death spell book): Allow you to conduct experiement on your subject ... err citizen by telling them you will give them a cake. By the end of the experiment, if they survive, they discover that there is no cake but a pie insteed. Give you a bonus for arcane or tech research.

Totally agree that combat now is better. At least, with good equipment, hero dont die at first sigth :).
Ok, for those who said: I can't have archer, it's because you need the archery range. Same thing for "party", need command post (lvl 3 city). My bugs now: same as some people: dammage appear to not work proprely. My dragon does 72 dmg and only 10-15 is really effective. One of my city has "no limit" of building upgrade to city (in fact, I have - tile). Some monster "move" away when I attack them with the auto-resolve (animation bug) but die anyway so no big deal. Sometime, I saw a wandering m
It's tommorow already... need to go to work...
Yeah, I can't wait to play it :)
Yeah, new spell!
- New DDR Challenge Mode - At the beginning of combat, any champion can challenge an opposing champion to a DDR dance off. The loser sits out of the combat overwhelmed by the levels of pwnage.
YEAH, a new utility for Dex :)
Well, like Heavenfall said, you can get a partial refund (around 75% IIRC). There is a major patch that's suppose to come out as a public beta this thursday so if you want, you can wait a little and see what's comming.
-New spell: Double rainbow: Allow Neil Pattrick Harris to appear mounted on a unicorn to give you skittle and raise your moral.
Quoting Goldmos, reply 48 The concept of 'medical', 'civilians', or even 'clergy' on the battlefield and exempt from combat is a concept developed late in the Renaissance in Europe when formalized warfare was created (prior to that it was pretty much free game in terms of killing civilians or religious figures) so therefor red cross would not even work since they would have just been killed when trying to help the wounded

Here's my take on reselling games. Let's say SD makes 1000 copies of a game, and sells all 1000 copies. That's all the income they are entitled to for those games. If those 1000 people sell their games

We don't need no stinkin (pun intended) toilets or sewers or wastewater treatment plants in this game. If you want that CRAP go play SIM CITY any edition. That's the problem with a LOT of games today they try to put TOO MUCH MICROMANGEMENT into them and they become dull and boring. I want to play the good stuff. Ok, I saw the rules and regulation, but do we need to add EVERY detail like: how much mana, upkeep, how many turn it should last, the AOE , wich book or something else or we just need to tell what kind of spell we want to have?
This is pointless. Lets add another thing to worry about, sanitation, then lets add a building that solves it! Holy shit, that was fun! Why bother at all? More fun just leaving it out.
Well, I dont think that the poster wanted to "add" sanitation in the game, but add some building that reflect a good sanitation and add some bonus for clean city.
Quoting Goldmos, reply 14 Then what's the point? Under this model there's no decision making at all. Once you get to size X, you need the building. You spend the time to build it, and then you forget it exists for the rest of the game. I'm not seeing the part where this adds a game mechanic that contributes something to the game.
quoting post It seems like the only building constructions are those that are: gold, knowledge, arcane, military, and diplomatic related. It's like the game wants to be a city-builder (choosing city sites, buildings to build, research, caravan routes), but stops short & doesn't go the whole way. It's like a 50% city-builder strategy game. In my opinion, it seems they abstracted anything out of the game that wasn't related to the 5 cat
