Like Fistalis said, a lot of this was in the earlier version of Elemental. In fact, I think it's about 1.08 that the city accepted more than one type of building. This was made to prevent building a lot of city with no real difference because each city that you made were nearly as identical as the old one. Now, you can choose where to put your focus. Hi there, I was wondering if the school should only take 1 tile and have a 10% bonus and the university take one tile and have a 20% bonus. What's bring me to this conclusion is: if you want your school to have a meaning you must at least have 16 reasearch building in your town to make it worth it (25% for 4 tile. Il you replace your school, you can add 4 building that produce reasearch point. 4/0.25 = 16) wich is a LOT of building and a lot of space (4 tile on a maximum of 50 meaning 8% spac
Well, if you want some "city spam/one great city" style of play, I think the ultimate things to do is remove the tile limit per city but add a global tile limit. For instance, let's say that you can have a total of 250 tile. You can build a gigantic city with the 250 tile but wont expand the ZOI, have 5 city with 50 tile (what we have now) or maybe 10 city with 25. You see the point ;). Well, another idea should be randomness in the tech/spell like MOO3 or Sword of the star. I know, it's not what everyone call goods games, but nevertheless (even if in MOO3 I would really like to have access to all of the tech because my main focus is tech/city management) it force some change in the gameplay. Well, why dont we use "distance" instead of square and hexe? A perimeter around your character should delimited your zone of mouvement, or use a number of "footstep" to go around if you dont want to go linear. I dont know if I'm clear to you because in my head it's perfectly clear ;)

-New unit: Raid bull. This unit have multiple fonction: can be use as a raid team to pillage ennemy town, use as a bonus unit to your agricultural need, can also be use in combat. Most importantly, they have a special power name "power drink" that enhance their performance for a brief time, then go to sleep. Can also use the raid bull as a trademark and make money out of it.

Well, for a turtler like me, you could include more defense base building. Also, I saw a number of time that some tech should be cross related in different path to unlock, that can be cool. I keep in mind that v 1.2 and 1.3 will be kind of "small" patch compare to the Fallen enchantress and the other expansion.
