It was clear from the start of FE that it would have a lot more designer-driven approach than E:wom did. So ideas are great and fun for the developers to read, but I think there is only the smallest chance of something actually getting done. I think this forum is more about gauging what people expect from FE, rather than taking solid concepts from the community and implementing them.

If you open up the subforum it will tell you how many have viewed the topics. If you want feedback or comments from players, well... can't help you there. If you want a personal comment from me, I will say that your ideas are interesting, but you present them very poorly formatted which makes them annoying to read.
Some graphic assets. But looking at screenshots from E:wom looks completely different from screens from FE.
Yeah, not much going on here. A dev journal every now and then, usually worth reading.
It has become a full sequel.
I don't think it's ever too late to make a wish. But, as all wishes, there is likely a low order of probability that they will be implemented.
Addiction is such a powerful word, isn't it? You get ADDICTED to cocaine. You get ADDICTED to meth. So obviously, when you get ADDICTED to games, your life is practically over, isn't it? We'd better pull out all the stops to make sure noone gets ADDICTED ever! Fuck that. You're addicted to tv. You're addicted to a lifestyle of driving a car everywhere you want to go. You're addicted to internet access. You're addicted to your phone. You'r
I don't care for this idea. It will just create a lot of micro and waste the player's time setting up production chains.
Whole december is christmas for you guys? We clothe it the day before christmas eve, and throw it out a week later. No feeling-good on our watch!
I think it was mentioned some time that there would be an AI vs AI button for tactical combat. It was one of those "this is not a promise" things, so let's hope it gets put in. Edit: i can't find the quote, so I'm probably imagining it.
I'm aboard the 85, 90 feels too distant in the middle in skyrim imho.
I doubt there's line of sight, if that's what you're trying to imply. It was one of two main reasons they wouldn't do sieges in FE.

I'ma just throw it out there, but no spell in E:wom is just "greater spell X", except alchemy and possibly raise mountain.
I second leeboy26's thoughts. It would be neat if monster lairs grew increasingly hostile as time passed. That way, they're not a platform to overcome, but something you have to adjust to continuously.
A good game > a work in progress. The only bad part with a delay is that we can't start modding yet. But if the FE experience isn't very nearly completed, you can't afford to release a beta.
You son of a bitch.

I'll for sure be reading up on that article from Tom! Thanks.
Maybe I'm just spoiled with resolution. My old screen was a 1440x900 something I think, then I jumped to 4870x2 and got a 1920x1200 screen. That's going from 1.3 million pixels t
Comparison: I had (and smoked) a 2GB HD 4850 X2 last year. Best card I've ever had, so that's the 'bar' performance vise.
I'm just so surprised at this. I have a 4870x2 and I never felt that it was even adequate. The second core rarely does any real work, and the gpu handles AA so bad. (I'm not saying you're wrong in your own assessment, it's just curious that we should differ so much) Tomshar
Nobody's getting FE for free without first having bought E:wom. So just combine time spent on E:wom with FE, and there you have it.
You can have a building unlock a technology, but once it is unlocked, you can't lock it again. There are also diplomacy buildings in the core game that allow you to build a particular unit as long as that building is linked to a city. However, the AI handles those extremely poorly when it comes to choosing units. The third option is to make a building produce a special resource, that would be needed to train units. The resource would function like food, ie you have a conti
Yeah, there is a spoiler tag, wouldn't hurt anyone if you used it.

It's still the same announcement. The game still needs funding to proceed with development.
The time I enjoy playing a game is the same as the duration I play it. Therefore, for me, it is relevant.
About the dollar to hour ratio. I don't look at it that way. It's a stupid way to look at it. That's like saying a fine glass of scotch is less worth than a big beer because there's less to drink. Not to mention that any adventure game will be of shorter length than a strategy game for obvious reasons. I enjoy and value games on an individual basis.
It's not a "stup
