@OP I don't really care if you think it's "ok" for me to buy the game or not. Your opinion doesn't affect me. If I decided to never buy games because some random person on the internet found a feature they don't like about it - well, I'd never play a computer game then. My morality is different from yours and I'm not going to alter it to accommodate your thoughts on certain matters.

Yeah, judging by lots of fan forums around the web, the security is really bad because there's so many getting hacked. Blizzard said yesterday that no account with an authenticator got hacked so far, so that's step 1 in making sure you get to keep your guy. If you do get hacked, contact blizzard and they will rollback your guy.

So a lot of people complained that the monster lairs remain static. A few versions ago Stardock started adding in stuff so that some monster lairs now upgrade over time, ie become more dangerous. Is there any way we could have a display for how long until a monster lair upgrades when we click on it? The jumps are quite large in power difference, and I don't like having so many unknowns in the game.

Agree, it would be cool to "specialize" units like that. But difficult to come up with fun traits, I think.

They do "level" in a sense, since the good gems don't drop, they have to be crafted. That's why you see a flawless square for 10k and then the next version for 120k. Basically, the new gem system is a huge, HUGE grind for the "enthusiast" player.

I think it's a bad business decision to cut the cord now, simply because you have 100 000 (I think?) people who get a free copy of FE for buying E:wom. If 40 000 of those are going to bad-mouth the game because they can't play it... you're done.

I must say I rather enjoy the current random techs. If they are done in the same vein, ie random weapons or armor, that'd be cool.

There are good arguments to both sides, but in the end I think making roads not work in enemy territory would just make it a more fun game. I don't want a situation where a tech actually makes your defenses worse to such a degree. The logic should not be "well, i get 10% more gildar BUT I also get shitty roads the enemy can use".

It's supposed to be something you can research infinitely.

Pro-tip, there's an option in the gameplay (options) where you can choose "elective" play. If you tick that, you can choose any skill for any of the 6 skillbar slots.
