No idea.

US tax dollars at work. Your government is about to be sued for 300 trillion trillion dollars by the RIAA, btw.
I agree that the research system in FE is pretty boring. What I think makes a great research system in a TBS game is a system that unlocks new mechanics as you progress down the tree. For example, Civ5. You go down the tech tree and you unlock some iron ore. If you have it, you can build some special units. So now there's a new mechanic that wasn't there at the start of the game - you have to control and manage another resource. But of course having more mechan

Only the tile that you found the city on matters for those tile yield numbers.
All those are vanilla items. I'll fix the centaur sounds in next version, thanks. If you want to fight the normal factions, just remove the Stormworld_ExpandedFactions_NoVanillaSov. I don't know about such limits.
I think when people in the future look back on this time that we live in, 1950+ will be seen as a golden age for research. Mostly uninhibited by religious dogma, a sound scientific method, lots and lots of funding from both private and public sources, most of the world at peace. It cannot get much better. Let's hope it lasts. There's a new announcement every week about a significant breakthrough in defeating cancer. True, most of them will never survive the rigorous testing pr
Uploaded 1.3i http://stormworld.wikidot.com/versions By the way, which magical items were missing weight? I checked out the ones from Reliquary and those who should have it, have it (armor, weapons, not cloaks except Of-The-Earth). I am aware of centaurs getting different sizes. SD have opted to slightly randomize the size of all units which messes up some unit designs for centaurs and drota. It is barely noticeable
Damn... fix coming up.

I think this is virtually guaranteed. Even E:wom supported it, and we can already divide the factions into teams in FE in single player.
My first computer I got for my own money was the Dell Inspiron XPS:
If anything you are likely to notice a decrease in performance between E:wom and beta3 of FE. This is because FE is simply more demanding on your gpu as it has better graphics. Now I'm going to speak plainly, and I don't mean this as an insult but as a dose of realism. If you are running a Nvidia 8600M GT card, don't expect much in terms of performance. The card is 6 years old and was a stripped down mobile version when it arrived. FE is a state-of-the-art computer game th
Your description was enough, thanks.
https://forums.elementalgame.com/428455 now mentions 16th august as an ETA.
Right click your shortcut to the game, click properties, and check that the "target" field and "start in" field point towards the same folder. This issue can occur if you select "advanced" when installing FE to put it in a custom location. When this happens, the shortcut target changes appropriately, but the "start in" field does not (it retains the location before you changed it). I have reported this to Stardock before so they should be aware of the issue. &nbs
Oh snap I completely missed that it was out! Steam is kind of bad at showing which version you are currently playing of a game.

For techs, you need to mod right in the installation directory as of beta 0.915. Remember to start the game with the following shortcut: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\FallenEnchantress\FallenEnchantress.exe" -localdataonly also keep backups of the original file because you'll need to restore it before patching the game.
Downloaded it this morning, have been stuck playing it at my computer for the last 6 hours. Very interesting game so far. I'm getting an Alpha Centauri vibe when playing it, with different unlocks for new mechanics coming from tech trees. The empire building part feels highly complex, but the tactical combat on the other hand I feel like I have basically no control over (even with special orders). Question: Are there new orders from anywhere? Hero unlocks? Tech unlocks? I haven
I like the chess piece look. A 2d version would be a downgrade and require a lot of work. The current chess pieces are "dynamic" in the sense that they are the real 3d units we have but frozen in poses. This makes it very easy to add new units to the game because you don't need to worry about how they are going to look on the cloth map, other than the pose. If you add a weapon, you don't need to do anything special to make it look right on cloth map.
