Version M fixes 3 posts with bugs before this and updates for 1.8. Also added comment that it is not compatible with leader pack DLC in OP.

Traditionally Children of Storm contained a file to overwrite all goodiehuts. But for the life of me I can't remember a reason why. I'm going to remove it for 1.8a, but I don't really play the game so let me know if you run into any strange things surrounding the goodiehuts, in particular monster spawns and so. This wouldn't be a minor change like "maybe some goodiehut spawned a bit more", this would be "there's two of everything" or " I don't even get monsters in my g
http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-30171614 mentions russia, saudi arabia and ireland were targets. Which seems like an odd combination.
NSA at it again?
Definitely a "Wish" spell, grants a random boon. That's it. Could be the strongest item in the game, could be the weakest boots in the game. Could be a summoned chicken, or the Wrath-Angel of the High Heavens, the Reaper of Fate.
Better turn off Skype, Steam, Spotify, any antivirus and Windows before running it though! [e digicons]:D[/e]
I'll be doing a rivermod for SK when we're closer to release. There are already bridges in, but I'll see if I can come up with a better riverend.
I don't understand the game at all. I lose my whole army in 90% of the battles. Is there a recruit button I'm missing somewhere? Music was good though.
What are the tasks? Do you need someone to come up with a quest, write it, implement XML, bugtest? Goodiehut tile design? Monster XML? Balance tests? Or just part of that? Is using the editor a must, or can we do the XML ourselves? I'm interested.
Random maps now ready for general availability
Sneaking the big one in at the end, eh?
Sounds hella confusing.
In Children of Storm there is an item called the Horn of Resounding which uses a 13x13 stamp. Isn't there a spell condition you can set that the target tiles have to be empty? What happens if you set EmptyTile and maybe Empty
Cool thing about terraforming spells in FE:LH is that they can place Stamps (pre-generated terrain pieces). You should check out the volcano spell if you want to push the envelope with terraforming.
If your feet aren't bleeding and you are aren't freezing outside a mall and you haven't had something ripped out of your hands, it's not really Black Friday shopping
Oh please. It's not a proper Black Friday until someone dies.
Sorry, no idea what's wrong.
What faction?
You should be able to use it on any female.
I plugged the boots in and it shows up in game for standard race females. Are you remembering to start a new game after you've changed XML?
You can't have prereqs on the sovereign screen. Try removing the prereq and see if the item appears for your units. Also note that the artdefs you've chosen ( Art_PlateBreastpiece_LadyUmber and so on) require DLC and can only be worn by females.
You'd generate the whole map, I think, rather than just a stamp which is usually much smaller. But it comes back to noone yet successfully cracking open the saves files. There was some russian talking to me about it a few years back but frankly I don't remember anything.
Show us the XML you have. Also make sure you have mods enabled in options. And that you placed the files in the new LH mods folder.
(in Aow3 you actually can choose the direction your unit is facing, both when performing a move and when standing still a turn)
I would rather also have weather effects than just day/night in tactical. Blizzard - snow fall effect. Everyone gets -20 cold resistance and +20 fire resistance. Heatwave - everything looks washed out, lighted up. +20 cold resistance, -20 fire resistance Rainstorm - random lightning strikes, rainfall. -20 lightning resistance for everyone, +20 ranged dodge Blackest night - everything turns dark. -10 dodge for everyone. Bonus for shadow creatures?
If you attack Gibbai from the mod Children of Storm they take you into a nightmare dimension where they get +50% damage. If they attack you, you get a normal battlefield. That sort of thing would be neat to have as well.
The argument to include terrain bonuses is that it is fun in other very similar games, and feels like a shortcoming in the Elemental series. This means that it can be done well, and, speaking bluntly, you just haven't managed it. Go and play Eador - Masters of a Broken World if you want to see it well done. Instead of putting in some bonus tiles, each tile should have properties. Thusly you force the player and the AI into a choice, and it also directs the battle. What
