As much as I prefer PC as well, consoles are still good. Just don't venture far into FPS territory with it, stick to PC for that
I like FPS's on consoles way more than PC. I think it has to do with what you're used to. I grew up on GoldenEye64 (my vote for the best shooter every, btw[e digicons][/e] ). After years of playing FPS's with a controller, a mouse and keyboard feels foreign. The same goes for someone used to PC controls. Yeah, the PC gamer

Updated. I almost missed this one; one of the downsides of being away from my computer for 11 hours a day, the tweets can get buried. But don't worry, I'll always get it updated eventually[e digicons]:P[/e]

I can't find it quickly, but I saw something from at least one dev to that effect within the last week or so. It was Boogie in the thread talking about charming monsters.

Updated. Imagine how that pose would work with the ugly spawn of Satan half-human, half-fallen offspring. Try to get that image out of your head[e digicons]X|[/e]
From what you guys are telling me, Game Designers are one of two things, either programmers or artists. I was under the impression that there are jobs that entail making decisions on what is in the game and how the game is played. I don't know If I'll be too good at programming and art. I could always go to writing, but its just not the same as being an active member of a game design team
I think it depends a lot on the company. Like with Ironclad making Sins of a Sola

I finally saw it. 3d IMAX. I must say, the 3d looked waaay better than I thought it would. I was expecting the kind of 3d you get with those cheap red+blue flimsy cardboard glasses. I was blown away by how awesome it looked. That being said, I didn't really care for the story. It was just too... obvious. Nothing happened that I wasn't expecting to happen, and I could see a lot of it coming. Where are the nukes? Why bother with the whole "battle" thing when you can just

I'll be honest, I don't see the point of the iPad. Why would I get it when the iPod Touch can do everything the pad does? Is there any difference at all, other than the bigger screen?

I wish surveymonkey didn't have that lame 100 participant limit for the free version, because it is by far the best survey creator I have found. Please pardon the threadjacking, but if they didn't have that limit, how would they ever get a paying customer?
No idea. I'm just speaking from my experience with my Top Games of the Decade survey. The tr
A dynasty isn't really a dynasty unless there is certainty that the ruler will one day die of at least natural causes. It seems that the game would be a lot more interesting if you were confronted with this fact,
How fun would it be to be playing, your sovriegn dies of old age, and because your son/daughter married into some other kingdom, you no longer have any control over your kingdom, and effectively lose the game? I think that would just outright suck. Losing the
With this it is confirmed that a game will go tens if not hundreds of years. In the light of this the question about lifespans is important.
Where is the confirmation of that?
Furthermore if one day would be one turn we could not have dynasties and descendants in any meaningful time - 20 years is 7300 days what would translate to 7300 turns till our first descendant turns 20. If he is to be born on turn one. So i think a turn is more like a month or more
