don't be mad Kitkun (I see that angry face) I'm sure you'll be able get a pre-order. and you'll get a shirt for your efforts! I mean the winners of this contest truely have a limited edition elemental T-shirt. I mean SUPER limited edition. So limited edition only like 10 of these shirts exist in the world. Maybe you can keep it saved until the game is so crazy popular it rivals pokemon or something, then sell it on Ebay for lots-o-money.

nah, that was an april fools (if it wasn't obvious. The real winners are the people who posted. The order of prizes goes: Winner 4 entry # 2: Luckman Luckmann created two entries. He didn't actually post what he created in the thread as part of the instructions, but we can't hold that against him. He is a very big contributor to the forums and likely deserved a shirt even if he didn't post anything in this

I'm in the forums of a fantasy game, but I still understand what you mean. Man, you totally threw me a trick ball. I thought I was going to come here to see some sexy nasa images. but no! just talking about sexy nasa pictures. Binary stars are cool, but wake me up when they manage to image a planet.

I really liked the way AoW did it. You had your army stacks, but the near-by stacks would also engage in a battle, they would just start on the field farther away. So your side was effectily several tiles wide, provided you had people in all those tiles.

I build my own PCs, and no matter how much I love stardock, I would likely continue to build my own.* I get a sense of satisfaction from dealing with all the monkey business of getting the system to actually post and then getting drivers and such to work out. I would recommend it to friends though.

@ PunningPundit - that is already been explained. Both the 32-bit and 64-bit version will be one 1 disc, i.e. you will only buy it once and get both versions. man, the jokes that are going to come from playing on a 'wee map' (I highly support having a size under tiny called 'wee')

if there is to be a save/continue feature, I'd want an auto-save feature similar to fire emblem 7, where if you quit at any time (including crash) the game would load from the last point which it saved (begining of turn or end of last battle, whatever is picked) and if that save is bad, then the one before it. I really don't think much of save features. I feel like too much variance would only cause frustration without really helping the game.

The part where half your empire defects is one that kills me. I agree that one (or anything like it) should have some sort of warning, because the blow is just too great for my tastes. I personally want major events like that one to have some sort of courcil meeting type thing as discussed in a few other threads. Where the heads of an alliance or the heads of the entire world get together in an emergancy meeting to figure out what to do about this new event.

Computer Specs: Higher end machines will be able to show more units, lower end boxes condencing said visual representation. 2. are you suggesting like a victory animation or something? I mean just having the option to spend a little extra gold to get a morale boost really isn't frivolous. That isn't bad actually. Sounds like it would meke it hard to steam roll though (for good or for worse) since a single defensive victory could be used to boost further defences.

Just because everybody is nice and gets along, doesn't mean that they are a good RP group :( And it is VERY tough to then remove (or sometimes even find) th
