It could be, yes, but then the bug would be the item was consumed even though it wasn't meant to be.
Ashido
I think it's called 'Dark Scroll' but it's the item that gives you the "Merchant" trait after you use it; If you use two Dark Scrolls on the same hero it does not do anything; I would have assumed it would have 'bumped' it up to the next level (+3 Gildar per season)
The spell is available to all factions; it's Scripted Goodie Hut Reward from one of the Wildlands. The issue is that the AI typically clears those Wildlands out and leaves the monsters for you to clear (And never uses the spell; otherwise there would be bug reports from players about Sovreigns with 500+ hit points)
Try a "one city challenge".
Or the "One City of Each Type".
A few things for me: - There is no point in having "large" cities beyond the level 5 cap; add a small gold generation bonus to cities based on the amount of people that are in it (This might penalize the smaller nations by virtue of not having many towns which can directly effect the amount of food each grain gives a town). - Instead of getting a champion at certain "Fame" intervals; can I also be offered a "big bag of money" (Money being something of value; not
There is also a spell that converts population to hit points.
The item "Grestsword" is described as doing 25% splash damage to all the units around you but it does not do splash damage.
It's a strange bug; Alexandros is a member of your own nobility; why is he a Tarth? In fact, even his History is misplaced; it talks of Jordur's people when it should obviously talk of Ash-Rend and how you saved him from his fate. Edit: And then his specialty tree (Defender) doesn't make sense considering he starts out with a Greatsword for a weapon.
You can actually combine your army with a trading Caravan and force it into battle regular battle. I had my Sovereign cloud walk onto the trading caravan and combined my armies together. Now this trading Caravan is a WAR CARAVAN. Could you also make Capitar caravans not set the "There is an enemy if your territory" flag?) Or was it when you put your mouse over a Capitar trading caravan not active the attack mouse icon? http://imageshack.us/a/img801/4562/vvmt.jpg
First, what race are you playing and do you have Henchmen as a bonus skill? The only race that can train henchmen are the Altair (The "Human" race). And the technology that allows you to train it is in the magic section; somewhere around the same Tier as Bogens Journal (Not the right name, of course but the one that gives you +100 fame)
You can't build ships; only get them through goodie huts Also: You can access those islands through an Earth Spell called "Raise Land"; from memory it's a level 3 earth spell and it's a great way to by-pass some mountains as well. To use the spell "raise land" you use it on the field of water you want to raise. It only really works on one tile at a time so move your mouse cursor around to ensure there is a real pathway leading to the area; at times it can be
I equipped the item because why not? I want to have this Knife-Throwing cat at my side and well... He's damn accurate. It isn't really a bug, I know, but it seems a little strange that the cat can't wield weapons and yet it can throw knives.
So, I've been ranging the wildlands killing every epic-level monster I can find in an attempt to create my own superunits from a 4 essence town (Fun times, fun times) and I can't help but I noticed that towns only support one "boss trophy bonus" (Or whatever you could call it). The problem here is that I have killed the Morian and Delin and placed their heads in the same town. Strangely the game seems to think that the town has two Heart's of Delin instead of one heart and one thi
I suggest a Hex Editor like Cheat Engine. But that ruins the fun so I don't suggest it.
It might sound like a strange issue but it popped up in-game for me: The town had both "defensive" upgrades that gave me extra Militamen for the towns defense; the enemy killed 2 of them (And I did as well, to double check) and then after that battle was concluded the town was attacked again in the same turn. For that second battle the Militamen did not spawn. Edit: It should be noted that killing one Militamen is alright. Two creates the problem (More than two.
I'm currently in a "pitched" battle against the AI (See the image below). http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/2772/xqjr.jpg I refuse to move my troops forward because there is no way I am I willing to pass up on the possible swarm bonus but the AI, recognizing that fact, also refuses to move up. That would be fine and dandy if I didn't have archers. I can happily pick off each enemy at range and the AI refuses to move up. Maybe add in a chec
It's something I've noticed for fun once or twice but it's a little silly when you see a Caravan from the Tarth aiming to trade with the Capitar capitol... And yet they seem to be going to the frontlines and visiting Kraxis' Capitol instead. http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/2593/rytn.jpg (The two red circles on the mini-map is to indicate where the two cities
I think its not quite a bug because units stationed in town don't count as army.
So while my Champion is in town he takes the whole season off? That lazy so-and-so.
My Brother's Sparus was only healing 2 hit points inside a town when he had a champion unit who had the healer trait. Outside the town when it is officially in an "army" with said champion the group was healing 5 hit points a turn. ...Plus it seems a little strange that a unit heals at the exact same pace inside a town as they would inside your territory (Not so sure on outside of it ATM)
That doesn't explain the first time I won against the Ashwake Dragon with just a low level Torch Bearer and two "Frost Mages"; the dragon was practically right on top of them and there was no way it could have lost. And yet it did.
It might sound a little strange but Auto-Resolve gave me a MUCH better outcome than what I could have gotten via regular combat against an Ashwake Dragon. My army consisted of my Sovereign, Asha, 2 "Frost Mages" (Regular mages using the rank 1 Ice staff), a low level Shieldman, a low level bard and a low level Torch Bearer. After playing out the first round the Dragon killed off my Sovreign, Asha and the Shieldman with one firebreath so I just auto-resolved the battle knowing I would lose. Mu
I'm all for the "Demand Surrender" option with the AI's; it brings a way to a quick and decisive end to a war and eliminates a faction without having to expend any more resources. The problem here is that the AI seems to offer their surrender too quickly or value a peace treaty too highly; several times the AI has surrendered to me while they would only accept a peace treaty offer that is heavily in their favour. The image below would be an example. http://img684.imageshack.us
