[Bug?] I destroyed an Ashwake Dragon via Auto-Resolve

While it was an impossible battle if I were to play it out manually

It might sound a little strange but Auto-Resolve gave me a MUCH better outcome than what I could have gotten via regular combat against an Ashwake Dragon. My army consisted of my Sovereign, Asha, 2 "Frost Mages" (Regular mages using the rank 1 Ice staff), a low level Shieldman, a low level bard and a low level Torch Bearer. After playing out the first round the Dragon killed off my Sovreign, Asha and the Shieldman with one firebreath so I just auto-resolved the battle knowing I would lose. Much to my dismay (And pleasure) I won the battle and sustained no loses beyond the original three. Reloading my save before I encountered the Ashwake Dragon I battled it again; this time using Auto-Resolve from the get go. I managed to destroy the Dragon without any loses this time. I know auto-resolve is limited in the outcome but it seems a little strange that it actually gave me a better result than what should have happened.

It happens from time to time. Probably because fire breath wasn't used, or used improperly in autosolve.

That doesn't explain the first time I won against the Ashwake Dragon with just a low level Torch Bearer and two "Frost Mages"; the dragon was practically right on top of them and there was no way it could have lost. And yet it did.

Practically on top doesn't mean anything in autosolve. Either way there is a log you can check to see what is going on to be sure.

Auto Resolve has often strange results, the devs should take a look into it.
