After wading through a wall of text... I'm not sure what your point is. If you don't think you can win, stay back, heal, get help, farm, whatever. If you're being attacked by three people that all have higher stats and movement rates than you... you're doing something very, very wrong.

Well if he can sucessfully disengage, it'll only take a few seconds for the heart to refresh him anyway. The only thing I'd call overpowered is if he's sitting in the middle of three enemy demis, hits the shield, then pops hol and continues attacking.
Poor guy must have thought our team was extremely fortunate to win despite my foolishness.
That's happened to me more than once. Some guy's spazing out because of my strategy, but eventually I gain four levels on everyone and dominate. :P Although, worse are the allies I get who think they know what I'm doing, and decide to charge a heavily defended lane at level four "with me". And I watch. And try to get th
Well people who quit midgame often screw up the connection and result in you getting no favor points. That makes it hard to get those dang favor items... lose, and you get 10 favor. Win, and there's a good chance the other team leaves and you get 0 favor.
Isn't it just a few kilobites per person, though? I mean, it's just a few lines of text. Even a hundred thousand people shouldn't take days, unless they've got a very small bandwith for their main servers... or are dodging spam detectors. :P
Durokk- Wow, thanks. That's pretty awesome to know. Since that works... I wonder if morale works on idols too. If it does, I might actually try the pure-general build sometime. Milsk- I definately buy monks straight off. They give +20 dps, can distract things that want to hurt me, take point in dangerous situations, and the healing they do is the fastest way to regenerate hp without pots, hol, or running back to base. One thing I tried toward the latelategame, w
I'm kinda worried because I heard you have to use them before the 29th... if I wait three days just to find out I didn't get one, then start trying to get it, eventually get a reply, and only then can even start convincing my friend to buy it... >.>
The Demigod coupons went out today.
Still haven't gotten mine... are they still being sent? I don't want to be impatient but I don't want to miss the deadline either. I bought the game from this website, have impulse, and have entered the code to play online... did I miss a step? EDIT: Oh, and I checked the email adress that my code was sent to. Is it delivered somewhere else?
Or have the rewards be team-spesific. Of course the team that won will generally get most of rewards, which is the big problem. Winning only gets you, I think, +60 favor, and the highest I've gotten was over 200; if the rewards where distributed amoung each team, it would be less of a huge deal that you lost. I also think there should be (if there isn't already) a way to modify favor points by the number of people playing. If you play 1v1, you'll get a ton of rewards. Much harder in 5v5.
It was going to be the 10th at first, but then he extended it because the cupons where going out later, probably because of the connection issues and the hopes they'd be at least partially fixed (definate improvements, sure gonna make the guy I give my cupon to happy~ :P).
Yeah, uh... please don't set up fake matches with a spambot advertizing your clan. No one wants to join anything that spams, and it rather detracts from the game.
I ought to be getting one... does it go to your email, or somewhere in Impulse?
When I first tried a pantheon game, I choose the side of light. And for a while, that was chosen automatically. Today, however, I can choose again. Was this a one-time reset, or can you always choose what side you want? I don't want to be stuck with only four characters in those games...
The lava falls seem a bit swingy and arbitrary (not that I wouldn't love to see it, but a lot of people don't). However, I like the idea of the spiral with the creeps missing eachother in the middle so they fight on the edges. The shortcuts being really heavily defened, plus the promise of extra creep farming in the middle makes for interesting strategy choices, too.
Lots of detailed info, and several things I've been looking for, thanks. By any chance do you know if items that enhance the damage of your "minions" includes idol minions? 8X10 is good, but 8X16 would be better. I kinda hope it does, because that would even out the effect of those items on Sedna/QoT vs Erebus/Oak; 4-10 is a much bigger difference than 10-16. EDIT: And, like you put one point into Soul Power because the first level is very helpful but the later levels a

And on top of those, he's so slow, and other demigods seem to outdamage him, outrun him, even outlast him in a battle of attrition. It's ridiculous! Are there ANY redeeming qualities or strategies for him? Seriously?
First off, towers are a Rook's best friend. Your towers, you team's towers, an allied rook's towers... work with the whole net. Second, rook is
I think that's a bit too comlpex, considering the maps we have now... also, since you're mostly stuck in the channels, symmetracal bonuses aren't going to be that signifigant. A simpler thing would be cool though... like, in the 'underwater' portions (mm, underwater temples...) you'd start taking damage after, say, 30 seconds. Of course, you'd need a lot of aboveground so grunts don't kill themselves... the water sections could contain things that attract players, to make it interesting. Flag
Honestly that whole paragraph looks to me like a load of bs. If he believes that an ai-substitue is fair, then leaving and having an ai replace you is no problem, right? And if it's not fair it shouldn't have been done in the first place.
If we're suggesting radical changes, I'd like to have one idol slot devoted to custom minion, replacing the three we get currently. It could be customized with favor points, giving people a reason to keep using them even after they've bought everything they intend to ever use, and I think having to stick to a single minion type at a time will let people run with a certian strategy instead of just buying at least level 1 in all the minions and being able to do anything they feel like decently.
Ooze really isn't good until you hit level 3-4, so I really question getting it so early. Even if you're going for a maximum late game build, I'd still bump pretty much everything down until you can buy your way up to ooze 3 in so many levels.
Or get dragged down by them either. If I play a game and one of my teammates gets killed three times in a row without anyone else dying...
If there is such a stat I'd hope it reflects a %, not an actual number. Also, I think there's two things in effect here, not just "rage quitting". If you quit because one of the enemies killed you three times in a row, it's ragequitting. Not playing out the next 20 minutes when it's clear you've lost is not being a masacist. :P
Thinking about it some, using that basic plan you can switch into three builds toward the late game, depending if you want offence (more assasinish), defence (mist/minionish), or a combination. Use that build until level 13 (although I think I'd switch ica to 12 or 13 instead of 11), then you can choose between maxing mist, minions, morale, vamp aura*, and/or mass charm. *I've been wanting to ask, how much lifesteal does vamp aura give? The actual % is a big reason whet
most of time reg leaving a mine right on you is enough to kill you immediately after coming out of the mist, before you can do anything.
This got me once, but as long as you remember to park over a creep lane, your minions can minesweep for you. :D
That... actually looks pretty sweet. Gonna try that out. Putting more than one point into ICA seems a bit overkill (like with coven, I think Erebus' innate coversion aura has a pretty low conversion chance), but I'm not sure what else I'd put extra points into anyway.
