I'm not saying piracy is right, but it's not theft... that's why it's not called theft. It's a very different and much more complicated issue.

Well it's kinda pointless without the abilities... and with the abilities, it's clearly broken. Also, any such generation system would have to limit you to veeery boring abilities with only a few, repetitive animations and effects.
You are taking the product without paying for it, that's thieft.
Well that's the thing, digital piracy isn't "taking" in the traditional sence. If I steal a chair or a meal at a resteraunt, I'm denying the person who produced it the time and resources that went into making it. If I copy some code, the producer is out nothing. Most companies seem to be under the impression that everyone who wants to pirate their software would
Yeah that's the problem really, it blasts creep waves more often then demigods as far as I can see, and by the time you buy a finger of god you'd probably prefer getting some xp/gold for killing them.
- so that means as long as one guy in a lane is farming his ally can be sitting back and chillaxing and he will still get the gold benefits. (Doesn't really make sense to me but I didn't write the code)
Doesn't make sence in a game-world sence, but does make sence as far as not having the one guy with a short temper and a sence of entitlement ragequit because you killed "his" wave. Also, haven't been able to see if this actual

I like Ooze, but only once I hit the higher levels. The damage/drain ratio isn't good until you put a few points into ooze, and by the laterish game 140 d/s isn't really the greatest anyway. However, by the time I can shrug off 50 dps, the -40% attack speed aura is sweet. That easily negates an artifact from every enemy in the vacinity...
I have a good skill called Exterminate (of course they'd say it when it's activated) they have to reapply every five seconds. :P And of course this wouldn't make it to the game, I just thought it'd be fun. XD Maybe a mod if we can eventually do that... or just give the developers the idea for a group-controlled assasin.
An ancient galactic menace, the Dalek are uninterested in this petty battle for supremacy, when it is obvious that Daleks are already supream. They mearly sent a single squad to wipe out all life in this puny planet. Strengths : High base stats, ranged attacks. Weaknesses : Slow, taking damage reduces overall dps. <span style="text-d
I think if Erebus needs a nerf, it's not the damage of bite, but the fact that it rapes armor. I think the fact it does damage, heals you, and makes the enemy take more damage for a while is what makes it overpowered. Without that Erebus would only have his Vamp Aura to passively boost his auto-attack, which is key in the late-late game. I think Erebus is also a bit weak early game, before you can build up skills pretty much everyone else can take a low-stat melee fighter, so wi
I haven't played warcraft 3, but one description sounds interesting and I think it could be quite interesting in at least some maps in Demigod. What if there where some neutral creep zones around the middle? Not attached to flags, not moving anywhere (except maybe in a small fixed pattern), just sitting around to harvest for xp/gold. Unlike creep waves they could be stronger straight out, so fighting them would leave you more open to being attacked by the other team, but worth either more xp
I think they're both some of the best items to get, which one to use depends on the demigod you choose and what map you're playing. In a small map, not much reason to tele; in a huge map, it really saves you some time. Quick melee characters (Erebus, UB) are massively helped in combat by the speed boost, supportive/defensive characters (Rook, Sedna, QoT) need it much less.
Well Trebuchets are actually useful on some levels, for example in the 2v2 map, buying trebuchets means they'll auto-clear the six nearest enemy defences, and shoot at enemies before they even get into the midpoint. Most players are smart enough not to chase someone into light tower range, but it's a lot easier to get them to chace you into trebuchet range. On the flipside, the Finger of God doesn't seem too useful, unless it shoots /way/ more often than it seems to. Th

Rain of Ice takes care of creeps just as well, doesn't put you at risk, and reduces your enemy's attack by a large chunk. I don't see the point of putting skill points into either Flame Nova or Circle of Fire when Ice Rain works just as well against creeps, better against demis, and plays nice with Icy Grasp for bonus damage.
I'm not really a "pro" player, but in my opinion, out of TB's 6 spells, fireball is the best, but the other two fire spells are the worst. So, when I play TB, I go with fireball and then all the rest of the ice stuff. Fireball is, of course, tons of damage. The ice circle nukes creeps and debuffs demis. Ice nova is the best stun, and stuns are useful for a number of reasons. Ice Grasp honestly isn't my favorite spell, but it's versitile and maxing it lets you buff it and fireball, whi
I am, and good luck with it, hope I know someone famous one day~ :P
Oh, I do... but got to hit the iron when the inspiration strikes, right? :P Plus the chances of me becoming a game designer seem slim, so on the off chance someone can apply my ideas to this game or another, better then them sitting in my head to rot, right?
Ah, weird that they stopped getting killed then... I guess my opponents must have upgraded their defence right about when I upgraded the attack. Thanks for setting me straight~
Now, i could be wrong, but when I was playing as UB, I noticed that after I upgraded Post Mortem to Plague, the creeps I attacked stopped exploding. Assuming that I'm correct that choosing Plague wipes out the prior Post Mortem, is it worth upgrading? 300-450 damage over 30 seconds lategame is almost nothing, and won't wipe a wave of creeps on it's own. Post Mortem, on the other hand, seems to one-hit creeps caught in the explosion, so UB can wipe a wave of creeps just by killing 1-2 in the r
Well it's not like I realistically expect the people who make the game to see these, let alone use any of these ideas; I just have fun doing stuff like this. :P
While I have been frustrated in the past with buying games that wheren't finished (would you want to buy a steak dinner that came sans-steak, with a promise that steak would be sent to you within the next few weeks), this really isn't as bad as it could be. When UT3 came out, more things didn't work than did. :/ Really, really basic things... and they never fixed things that UT2004 contained, let alone several big things they promised. <span sty
Phalnax811: Oak? The idea being a General who's actually dependant on it's minion(s). Having one strong one would make this easier to control, since everyone else only needs to pay attention to one guy, possibly excepting QoT. Curzyfish: Dawn of victory would definately need a higher mp/s. Too easy to just leave it at level 1 w/ a vlemish face guard, and then be invincible for all time, and eventually level it up when / if you get more mps. Al
Across a distant land, a powerful clergy formed. Not so much forming around any one diety or ideal, this group preached general tolerance and belief in the goodness of all, while quietly amassing power for themselves and taking over larger and larger areas. Unlike most, they could never produce their divinities, but could provide increasingly powerful demonstrations of miracles as the years went by, powers they said where granted by their nebu
For the moons- pretty much what I was thinking too, too bad they can't be separately colonizable but oh well, what can you do? A Deadly Secret makes it so you can't have that planet (since it's got a ton of negative planet health); I once left four colony ships around it just for fun, you get messages about it being colonized but I guess it dies too fast for you to get the message that it's been lost? By the way, a reference to Serenity, right? One thing about the black hole wo
