There is a repeatable bug that can come up when asked to assign points to your faction (ie, pick out strengths and weaknesses). Max out all of the faction weaknesses, ensure no strengths are selected. Then change your race. The bonus provided by the weaknesses will remain the your new race will no longer have the weaknesses selected. You can repeat this as many times as you want.

This was brought up before during 1G, but the "Advanced Lighting" issue still remains with those that have nVidia video cards. Portraits are all blurry / hazy.
MoM is great, but got boring quickly when I figured out how to make a hero that was invincible. I slaughtered whole armies and captured multiple cities all with one lonely hero..
Damn I hope the update is released tonight.

Are turns and tiles being used to represent real-world units of measurement? Does 1 tile represent a X meter * Y meter area? Or are they simply "tiles". Same thing for turns: does one turn represent X days, or is it simply a "turn" ? Establishing some real-world units of measurement will help refine the pacing. As it stands right now unit movement is about 2 or 3 times too slow (coming from 1G). Huts should take no more than 4 turns, probably even 3.

But then again those are all "huts". There are no houses. And there is no guarantee that all of the huts are full.

I'm a bit fuzzy on the actual lore / "campaign" behind the game. Is there going to be a story driven single player mode as well as the random maps? If so I strongly suggest hiring a professional writer to help form / write the story as well as fill in the background lore.
Update the story!!

How are sieges being handled? I would think a wall would be more suitable for keeping people out rather than farms or outposts... Oh damn I hope we can build walls! One thing I really liked from Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic was being able to defend cities from behind a wall.
[quote who="Frogboy" reply="37" id="2585505"]I think we'd lose a lot by going to local-only resources. For example, I should be able to starve an entire kingdom if they put all their eggs in one breadbasket. Local-only resources removes multiple dimensions of strategy. One of the reasons why TBS games tend to have a grindingly painful end game is because of local-only resources. In the typical TBS, EVERY game ends up a war of attrition. Not
Are there plans for mountains to obstruct the player's view? It doesn't make a whole lot of sense that a watchtower could see over a mountain.

Time for our update??
I don't mind if food is shared between cities BUT I think a fair trade off is cities need to be connected via roads in order for them to receive food from neighboring cities (this would in fact make food a locally shared resource, not a global one). The game would play out almost identically to how 1Z plays now except cities that don't produce food will become vulnerable to guerrilla warfare (since disrupting roads would prevent food from being distributed).
Anyword when 1Z will become available?

I'm curious if the sovereign’s children will ever rebel and attempt to kill the sovereign.
It would be nice to be able to provide feed back without continually running into the same old bugs and crashes. Is there a schedule for when the next build will become available?
