Maybe I'm the only one, but I'd greatly like to see an option for setting how quickly units move on the strategic / tactical map.

The savegames themselves may also be helpful if particular ones are causing the issue.
It's really frustrating having to look for free 3rd party hosting that requires users to register and waste time. A simple file attachment feature in the forums would be far more efficient / helpful. With that said here is the debug: <a href="htt
I agree that pacing is off - but in regards to the army / combat: One possible reason you're able to relax and just research the entire civ tree is because the AI right now poses no threat what-so-ever. If you had an army of 100 pissed peasants upon your doorstep being led by an enemy sovereign, you might feel differently about needing to build up an army earlier into the game. I'm not 100% sure how goodie huts are being handled at the moment... if some are created / visible s
1. In release dragons will fly.
I thought I read somewhere that there would be no flying game mechanics - unless you mean it will just graphically fly.
Could you explain in more detail?
Sure. I construct my pioneer and then send him to a location to build a new town. Once the city center has been created and the pioneer "erased" from the map (ie, no longer has any physical presence) my bottom "bar" (for a lack of a better term) still has the pioneer selected along with all of his stats, moves, etc.
Thanks for the feedback. Here's some answers that I hope help: Will check in on the infertility problem with the sovereign. I know there were some changes made there. There are a TON of crashes we're working on right now. Lots of changes coming to tactical battles to make them deeper We won't be doing forging until post release (forging of magical items). It's a plot point in the game. &nbs

My quest location level or w/e it is called is at level 5. This dungeon requires level 3. And yet when I walk over to it, nothing happens.
The dragon (at least the Red Dragon that you can "earn" from completing the egg quest) is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too huge. Seriously, I cannot see a single thing on my map now. Not only that but the dragon is insanely powerful and was far too easy to get. Huge imbalance considering I can now destroy every other nation I think with this one unit.
So it looks like there is an ambitious entrepreneur running around Elemental setting up inns. Why do I say this? Because near to where I founded my kingdom there are 6 inns and each one is directly adjacent to at least one the other 5 neighboring inns.
Not sure how memory is being managed but after creating a city with a pioneer, I still have the pioneer referenced despite the fact that the unit should have been "destroyed".
I've just found Azur's Armor after killing a number of spiders. I almost had fun! [e digicons]:D[/e] Problem is for some reason the item doesn't appear on my sovereigns inventory screen, it can only be accessible via the item panel.
Tactical Combat: I am not able to use a single one of my tactical spells during tactical combat when fighting with my sovereign despite know a great many. There is just a blank list under the spells tab within combat. Units with move points below 1.0 are useless during tactical combat. I had recruited a hero that had only 0.5 movement points during combat. As a result he could not move or attack. In-Game
When trying to load any of my previous autosaves, the game will simply show the animated background of the main menu instead of the actual game that was supposed to have been loaded.
I can confirm this is still a very annoying issue.

any idea to base production amounts off the population #s ?
Area of influence / improvement building changes are great to see!
Q: What is Stardock’s position of Elemental’s multiplayer? A: Elemental has multiplayer. To ensure that it is robust, we basically threw money at the problem (i.e. set up servers around the world to just host the game)
I find this interesting. I'm curious why this was done (and hopefully Brad will be nice and comment). With a game like Elemental where latency is an extremely low priority, why bother setting up servers on a
Terrible performance for me too. Windows XP SP 3, Nvidia 260 GTX, 2 gigs ram, Intel Duo Core 6700 @ 3.00 ghz
This is not true (at least in Beta 3). It seems like you just need to have at least one side of the special location touching some constructed buildings - it doesn't have to be your city center.
Of course it was (not to mention tongue in cheek) and you have no need to apologize, I just thought the people here might be interested in what I do as I've been posting here a lot over the last few years. Thinking about it afterward though, I reckon I should have just started my own thread so to avoid upsetting people like yourself. So sorry about that, what can say, I truly love Dune and enjoy my own work as well No shame in that, quite
Just finished reading a book containing a collection of Edgar Allen Poe poems / stories. Next in my book case are some math books.. then maybe Lovecraft.
Well written, original concepts, NOT boring. Dune is a hands down masterpiece in every way. The closest I've read in terms of depth and quality would be Three, which I wrote myself.
I've never read Dune (movie was terrrrrrrribly boring and hel
This may be a pointless post since it's been said numerous times that the internal beta is different from the public beta but I felt this needed to be brought up. Right now the game feels rather bland. While playing I honestly feel like I'm using a program to manage a civilization rather than actually building a civilization myself (and playing a game)... if that makes any sense. Things seem too "chorish". There is also FAR too much clicking going on. I hope something
For now: Run windowed. Cause of problem: Your machine is so fast that it's outpacing our rendering engine. We'll have to throttle things further next week.
I am running windowed mode and I still get all of these issues.
