You can't always get what you want, You can't always get what you want, You can't always get what you want, But if you try sometime, You just might find, You can get what you need. - Rolling Stones.

I understand what you're saying Brad. Inconsistency is just a part of life. In my job if I'm inconsistent (printing) it can mean thousands of dollars of product is returned by the customer and the company has to eat that loss. That means I get "called on the carpet" and royally reamed. And rightly so. I'm paid, and paid well, to be consistent in my work. I have a feeling that the overloaded moderators here are not paid, or if they are it is not very much. <img src="http://images.st

Hey WiseOldMan. Tainted potato salad is potato salad that's been left out in the sun too long. Eating it in that state would probably result in long, long bouts of uncontrolable vomitting. <img src="http://images.stardoc

Thank you David. I know I over-reacted at the start. It happens sometimes. Just like you and all the other moderators, circumstances can have an effect on how you react to something. July 17th was a particularly bad day for me. I do understand the enormous stress you and all the moderators can sometimes be under. I'm not a stranger to stress myself. (I work for a graphic design/pri

Again, it looks like I've over-reacted. I am sorry for misiterpreting your post. I really did think it was being said "tonge-in-cheek". From now on, I'll keep to my own thread until I've ironed this out.

Thank you grayhaze. I thought I was close to a reconciliation in my thread with David K. Your sarcasm in this thread has shown me that people do not really want reasonable discourse to arrive at a solution. In the other thread, I was trying. I realized I over-reacted and I was willing to swallow my pride and discuss the situation with David. Now, that may be all thrown out the window.

Excuse me for not repling sooner. My wife felt I had been sitting behind this computer long enough and she wanted me to start helping a bit with the household chores. She had a point. David, here it is in a nutshell. I uploaded a skin that was part of a series. Previous uploads of the skin had received initial ratings ranging from 6 to 7. The new upload received a 4. I know, an

I might have said that was a viable solution once upon a time, until you realize that the "straw that broke the camel's back" as it were, was a rating by one such moderator. Looking at the big picture, the problem is not with one specific rating, it is with the rating system in general. It gives too much power to one group of people. This group is initially allowed to arbitrarily rate our creations without any regard for the basic criteria set forth in the rules. No, leaving

Removing skins was not *meant* to *do* anything. Because of what happened, I do not intend on coming back here very often, if at all. I removed the skins because they were mine to remove...Period! Leaving them without me being here to keep an eye on them ran the risk of them some day being ripped by some unscrupulous person. I simply was eliminating that possiblity. I won't be back. I don't care to "make it better" because, quite frankly, I don't care if it ever is better. N

The worst part of all this is that really great and original skinners are forced down in the standings due to this. Skinners like TheGreenReaper, treetog, APB, Agneva, and even FrogBoy are all forced one rung down the ladder because this guy is allowed to rip skins and post them without consequence. Just another reason why just a few days ago, I ran screaming from the site, my few skins in tow.

I have not been in 22 years. Spent most of my time drinking ale and eating really greasy beef. When in London I went and saw Black Sabbath at Royal Albert Hall. That was such a wild night, and Ozzy was awesome. I still only remember bits and pieces of that night but they are all great bits and pieces.
