Oh yes! That's very bad. It is "666" in binary.
UBoB
I don't hear or see the number 26, 29, 31, 33, etc. Are these all unlucky numbers too Now I'm scared. <img src="http://images.sta
Thanks werewolf. I knew about the fix. I'm the one who reported the problem to Stardock. (I'm also know as Tim C. ) Yes, the fix works great. honz12: It should fix problems 1 and 4 in your list. The other pr
Canada is not without it's humorous place names. Here is my short list: Baie de Ha! Ha! This is a small settlement in Quebec. The English name is "Ha! Ha! Bay". I've never found an explanation... Happy Valley/Goose Bay This is a town in Newfoundland's Labrador region. If you're there, you're either a local, in the army, or on a runway.(It's a last chance fueling
P.S. Adni. I know that Patmos is now a beautiful place. When I was 15 I travelled there and spent many wonderful days on the beaches at Grigos and Kallikatsou. Unfortunately, I don't thing Saint John had as much fun as I did! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0 AL
Hi adni. When I used the term "deserted" I didn't mean like a desert with just sand dunes and hot hot sun. I meant deserted as in "no other people around". When there is no one else around to talk to, you eventually start talking to yourself. (even though you probably think you are talking to someon
Very funny adni. In answer to your question, I do not believe such things. The "beast" and the number 666 were just the rantings of crazy John. This guy was banished to a deserted Greek island, left to fend for himself, and eventually went mad. Then started hearing voices and wrote down everything these "voices" said. In terms more relevent to us, it would be like reading the rantings of one Spi
Well that was a treat. I think just about every pop-up, pop-under, and whatever other unwanted advertising you can think of, are all at this site.
OK, this is really messing up my taskbar. This new version of SkinStudio is not working right. My taskbar is flat and grey. (although my tray is skinned and the quicklaunch bar is skinned....also, if a taskbar button is present then the area behind the button is skinned, just not the rest of the taskbar.) Also, the tray arrow is flat and grey. (it doesn't even contain an arrow, it's just a flat grey box.) Also, the clock which I know is set to a size of 18 actually displays a
This morning I downloaded and installed (on ODNT) the latest SkinStudio (2.10) Since then I've had nothing but problems. 1. The "XP Tutorial" skin does not skin the taskbar. 2. Any new skin I create also does not skin the taskbar. (It isn't WB because my skins that are already created work just fine as do all other skins by other authors that I've downloaded from WinCustomize.) 3. Constant crashing of explorer when SkinStudio is running. I've
Not only does he know nothing about giving back to the community, he also seems to have skipped the lesson on punctuation in his English class. ***Try using a comma or a period once in a while!!*** I mean, if you like free things...hey puntuation marks are free.
Perhaps even an official DX computer. One designed specifically for optimizing the many features of DX......I'd buy one!
I thought is was something like a butterfly net, only for catching dots.
Brad, here is my philosophy. "Why do it yourself when you can pay someone to do it"
P.S. This one is a long shot. There is a little game called "Pirates" by Amiga. The "cnd.exe" file can be found when the software is unpacked.
Didn't think so. I also found this strange little Japanese site that dealt with internet security. Most of the writing was in Japanese characters so I was lost.....However, under a section entitled "Nimda" they listed a number of files and one was "cnd.exe". I can't say for sure if cnd.exe was part of the nimda virus or was a file that was infected by the nimda virus......if only I could read Jap
When I had Windows 98 I used WindowBlinds, DesktopX and Icon Packager. (of the ones that you mentioned) So I know that they work. I also was able to use Object Bar.
Do you mean out of the programs featured at this site or do you mean programs in general. If it's the latter then there are thousands. Way too many to name them all.
Did a Google search the only program I could find that has a file called cnd.exe was something called "Nordex School". Do you or did you ever have such an app on your system?
Whew! Thanks a lot GR. For a moment I thought I was losing my mind.
P.S. Forgot to mention. This does not happen if you are using the native "Windows XP Style". It only happens with WindowBlinds skins.
I'm experiencing a small problem with WB. I have posted a report of the bug to WindowBlinds support NG. The post remains a couple of days, then disappears. No answer, no acknowlegement of any kind, just disappears. I'm hoping someone might help me in a little experiment to see if you can duplicate the problem I'm having. If not, then maybe it is my computer. Here is the problem: First, apply a skin, with the taskbar on the bottom of the desktop. (any skin, it doesn
I think spin controls are something like spin doctors.
On the few occasions I rated something I always gave an explanation in the skin's/wall's message board. Sometimes, I even received a nice email in return. Manners are important, and almost always end with good results.
