The world difficulty effect is great! should add alot too immersion. A couple of suggestions: Have humanoids & intelligent npc's have a chance to ask for a payoff to avoid sacking a town. Animals maybe would destroy some food resource or housing or pub (place food might be) Monsters might just be feeling a bit nasty and your town has the misfortune of being in the area. Also maybe a small chance that grows each time you kill one o

Its been great to be in the beta! [e digicons][/e] Aye, keep it coming!
My attempt to spiff it up a little. I do like much about it but it is a little clumsy. To access: When you are on a caster or your Sovereign just use the existing spell tab. When you are on a city or clicking about the map have a similar spell tab in close to the same location if not the same spot. When clicked, the Spell Tab, immediatly brings up the spellbook. Minor spellbook changes.

Early on (I had just researched mining) my Sovereigns group went into a humble inn. I received the message that I might not be ready for what is inside. When I clicked the ok button the message repeated 6 or 7 times then I was given the escort nobleman quest.
If I'm not mistaken, woodyards are currently disabled. I'm hoping they will be buildable after tonights build comes out. (3-a) It should make a fair difference in your available resources when they are enabled again.
Now that we can fortify units, It would be nice if on the following turns you would have an option to set a watch. Doing so would increase your sight radius by the movement of the units fortifying. Would represent patrolling that would naturally occur. The button for fortify could turn into a tower symbol or something, and if chosen a little wood platform could be added to the palisade graphic. It should probably cost some materials 3-5 or so.
I like option C or A. If and when an upgrade feature for units is incorporated (ala GalCiv) then either of these methods should work fine and enable you to get back on track when the resource is resecured via force or diplomacy. With Option A most players will probably have several alternatives already designed and might want to resort to one of those. Redesigning a new unit wouldnt be that much of a chore, and is kind of fun. I would bet a good % would do this.
Dont forget the Barding!
Poison & Disease, would be nice additions, coming from monsters or magic. Also adding in Cure Disease as a spell! Would possibly be hairy fighting a zombified Skath.
When using end turn button to move a group along its path. If the target square is a goodie and your group moves only one of its 2 squares the entire movement seems to be comsumed. When I right click to move on those items the group maintains the balance of its movement.
Can't wait! Even though I am unable to stop fiddling with v3 dispite the crashes. Unrelated, The scene loading a save game is nice I finally got the complete run of it. [e digicons][/e]
On small, several continent maps, Starting location was in Ocean Happened to me every time as Empire.
Thats really cool! [e digicons][/e]
I think it is a giant armadillo!
Currently Summon Familiar and some others are spells set to be cast once per game. I feel that a better game mechanic would be to put those on a timer. Three timers could be set up for those spells, to simplify: good(5,25), better(10,50), best(15,75). The timer would also relate to your essence. For good spells, say familiar, a value of 25 could be given, subtract essen
