I do enjoy that monsters roam and destroy cities (sometimes its also aggravating). Is it possible to mod or put in that when a monster group destroys a city, that instead of destroying the city, they destroy the populous and create a haunted city (quest). Where a player (AI) has to remove the ghosts of the city to reclaim the city back to its former glory. Wouldn't mind it if some buidlings were destroyed in the process. Also, the haunt could be level dependent on the city level tha

I haven't notice any less stability, but I haven't crashed very often with previous Betas. I also do not use crtl-N when I play, I play the hand I'm given so to speak. Maybe there is some stability issue with using crtl-N excessively. Don't know.

It doesn't matter what save game you load. If you load any saved game, then try to start a new game this happens to all of my custom sovereigns. I don't think its graphical since the sovereigns don't have any equipment or abilities.

I also recommend the game. There are bugs, but they are quickly being eliminated when they find them. I pre-ordered this in Beta 3 and haven't regretted it a bit. The game is highly random and there is quite of bit of customization and for me at least a lot of replayability. As the beta goes on and feedback is given to them the game gets better because of the community. The game will also be highly moddable when it is releases and so again replayability is big on this game.

Do the monsters now gain levels when they are sitting idle? I watched a stalker HP move from 18 to 22. I've also noticed this with other monsters. Also, the mites seem to have one unit that is uber mite with 33 hp instead of the standard 9. Who ever thought of this is a genius!

If a player is dominating there needs to be a boost in difficulty a challenge for that player. So the idea is similar to what a good dungeon master would do when the p

This bug is still present in .952 and I did a little investigation to see if the game plays with this view. It is worse than I expected, the game doesn't think that the sovereign has ANY equipment in the inventory or any of the abilities that I have chosen for the soveriegn. The other pre-made characters have their animations and equipment all intact. I can reproduce this error everytime on my computer following the steps I have described. Not sure if anyone else can reprodu

I had a spearmen move to a tile and then I moved my sovereign to that same tile, but before the sovereign moved mites attacked and then the sovereign joined the army before the battle took place. From the games I've played it takes time before the monsters go on the rampage and kill cities. I'm not sure what turn it is, but a time will come when creatures will no longer tolerate encroachment on their land. Usually what happens is that lairs spawn monsters to roam around every so often and when that happens chomp chomp... a message saying an AI is out of the game, or you are scrambling to defend your weakly defended city from an angry monster. I don't think th

They just supplement any defense, and keep the city from falling to something stupid, like a lone wildling.
I think Bingjack has the correct point about the militia. They are there as an added bonus, the city militia is the games way of demonstrating that peasants want to help defend their city (or are forced to defend). They are not a free powerful defe

Chalkbot is right that this is a bug, you shouldn't be able to play against your same sovereign (unless you built twins), and auboy105 workaround is saying to remove the twin from the list.

I think the idea goes that you can find a horse or two in the wild, but if you are going to deploy an army of horses then you are going to need a vast resource. (I'm sure that this can be modded, but we will see when beta 5 comes around)

The AI for ranged units don't take advantage of running away from the hero immediately. These units should try to kite a little more. They already step 1 square away when you close in, but they should do that at the beginning. This may produce some difficulties (annoyances) when a melee character trys to attack, but the range character should at least do a little kiting.
Personally, I think both traits should be rewritten: Betrayers Trait: Allows you to recruit from opposing alignment at +50% cost.
I agree with this change for betrayer, even if they leave natural leader the same. A +50% could even be +25%, but some gameplay testing is needed to know what the correct balance would be, beta 5 anyone.
