Combine it with cruel and we really speak overpowered. The you get one more sovereign point, one more attack, and 50% plus recruitment cost for heroes (that means nothing).
Actually the way they calculate it, its not nothing. I believe natural leader -100% of units recruitment costs, cruel adds 50% to the recruitment costs. So, really you get heroes at half-price. At least when I took those two traits and it cost me something

I like this idea and I think that this would be a good opporutunity for one of those random events. Untamed Lands: The untamed lands seem a little less tame of late. Spawns several monster lairs.

If you try to load a game saved on a Sunday, instead of displaying "sun", it displays "string not found". There are a few other problems with the save game look for example: Beautiful start Thursday 8 /23 / 2012 9:0 pm -It appears that if the time ends with a 0, i.e. 9:50 or 11:20, the last 0 is being cut off in the display of the time. I just did a test at

Still present in .951, I've even turned off anti-aliasing per a suggestion by frogboy in "high priority bugs" thread. Am I the only one experiencing this bug or can others reproduce it? Steps to reproduce: - Have an already created custom sovereign - Have a saved game that you can load -Load the saved game -Main menu and then start a new game. -clothless sovereigns If you play the game, the unit does not update. A simple fix is

Since you have these wildlands and a robust monster environment, could you make a sandbox mode to play without other factions. The victory condition is to clear the land of all wildlands and have an event where the wildland monsters start to rampage the country side after so many turns, bringing the fight to you. I think that this is a unique feature that you can have with your 4x game here as with this mode you can showcase your monster environments even more.

Since you asked to see things into the game here is a request. Don't know if it will be simple or not. Request for feature: I know many probably won't play this mode, but since you have such a lively monster environment could you make a sandbox mode. That is no opposing nation to play against, just you vs. environment. Beef up the monsters rage against you and with the victory condition to clear all wildlands. An event after a certain number of turns is to have the wil

World events: Muddied roads: No bonus to movement on roads. Unnatural Fog: Vision is reduced by 1. Forest Fires: Random Forests are destroyed. Makes wolves go on the rampage. Invaders from the West: A invading army spawns by the ocean tile and rampages.

I say refer to the game as Fallen Enchantress, but keep the full title Elemental: Fallen Enchantress. Chances are the negativity from elemental will exist from informed viewers anyway as they will know the origins of Fallen Enchantress. Great job and great game. Steam is a good option for games today. I would like to see a different terrain introduced to the tatical battles like underwater or clouds for a specific quest of some kind. For a random event I haven't se

I perused the debug.err file and found that it does not detect my video card correctly. I know that dxdiag does not detect my video card either, this is due to nVidia's Optimus technology. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/75549875/FE%208-23-2012/debug.err shows I have an intel graphics HD (which I do) But I use an nVidia GTX 555M, 3 gig video ram, latest drivers, etc.

Farmland is the best choice, given all the other improvements in the game for grain.
but alas the Tarth AI settled that tile, right next to the dragon..
As I understand it the Tarth do not get attacked by most monsters. That is one of their special abilities and it makes it nice to have free protection around my cities playing as Tarth. Can't say about the other factions and the AI though. I agree with the pioneer spamming is a problem, but I don't think their will be a goo

My first impressions were graphics were okay, and I wasn't necessarly excited by the graphics. But then I thought about it some, and that this game looks like a canvas picture come to life. Each scene depicts a nice image that people would have on their wall. I do not think these graphics need an overhaul. I grew to appreciate these graphics and now enjoy playing with these graphics. In part, the original post has a good point and selling this game on graphics will not b

I have noticed a headless / undergarments bug on the custom sovereigns. I have been able to reproduce this effect on my computer, I hope others would check to see if it something with my rig (Alienware M14 Laptop, geForce 555m vid card, win 7 64bit). Here is the debug.err file http://dl.dropbox.com/u/75549875/debug.err First ha

I have found 3 level 1 heroes (playing a Tarth) with one of my gameplay and I had only 3 other factions. One faction already had hero and so there were at least 4 of the humans factions. So it might be bad luck on your generation of the map. Sorry no pics to show this off (or a save game), if it happens again where I can prove it I will post a pic for you all.

soil sounds good to me as well, but "topsoil" maybe a better choice instead. This is where most crops can be planted, without the topsoil very little life can grow. Soil itself refers to any number levels in the earths crust. The top-soil presents the fertile land.

I agree about a name change to the food/ grain system. "Fertility" works fine in my book. It allows one to possibly imagine alternate crops to feed the populous. But leaving it the same to avoid this fertility confusion may be best.

One can still do the infinite movement bug. If you click on a square next to you and you begin to move, continue clicking with the mouse button and you will eventrually instantly warp to the new tile. The fog of war doesn't update, but you can navigate the unexplored region. The region will show up once you do a legitimate move. (Note: I was playing Tarth when this occured)

2 Replies 867 Views

If you right-click to move to an adjacent square, and right-click again onto the target square just before your unit moves to that square, it will warp the unit to the square and not deduct any move points. It doesn't update the map when you do this process as you can see with the picture below. If you are having trouble reproducing the result just right-click repeatedly onto the target square. <img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/75549875/FallenEnchantress
