allanmadragoran, the performance was fine but I am using a dual core e4600 at 2.4ghz with 4gb of ddr2 1066 I do not realy expect to get much in the way of pauses other than at end of turn, and as it was a six hour session and a four hour session before the error, it is definately suggesting that they are on the track of the bugs. BUT had another seven hour session to turn 603, with ram use getting to 1.38gb saved the game and exited, and during the exit got am OOM I had had on

cephalo, here is a l ink to the reply three by derek paxton in one of my oom threads, and it does play for about 240-260 turns before the oom with 256 x 256(your sizing) maps, but it ooms at about 350 with a map that is reported as 10x8 harpo

cephelo, have just received some info from derek paxton about map sizes in 32bit being that the largest map that 32bit elemental can handle IS 12 x 8. pity as I like having some time to build up my faction before having to war. harpo
