thanks for letting me know, pity the map size info was not available earlier, as all of my testing has been with this size or larger. harpo

in the catography table the cursor size is changed by the numberpad +/- keys, and it changes the RADIUS of the cursor which increases the tile count IN the brush by PI/Rsquared. harpo
reloaded the savegame, which was turn 241, played on to turn 280, when a second oom happened again in the save game function(ram use by elemental was approx 1.1gb with 1.39gb ram free, so NOT out of either ram space for elemental OR available ram) zip file was created, added saves & dxdiag harpo </
I am also seeing this on my geforce 7600gs system, but have not seen it in my other comps, and have been seeing it during the 1.19 beta series harpo
updated elemental then started a new game on a 15x16 world with 10 hard/challenging ai on a 20 start map, played for approx 3 hours till OOM in turn 245 during save zip was created, added dxdiag and saves harpo
had some issues in my usual testing machine, so switched to my gaming beast( w7 ultimate 64 bit i7 930 oc 4ghz 12gb dd3 2ghz ati 5850) started a new game played to oom(first time 1.45gb ram usage by elemental as reported by taskmanager, zip created, added saves & dxdiags reloaded game and continued playing to second oom at
had downloaded 1.19h started a new game on a large world with 20 starts, played for several hours to turn 247, and had an application crash one dialog box and back to desktop, no dump or zip was created, so zipped the savegames, debug.err & dxdiag harpo
I want in RL the gold mine harpo
started a new game on a large map played for about six hours, then saved and shut down elemental, generated crash zip couple of days later loaded save game and played for approx 4 hours, and decided to save before closing down for the night, went to save game and had OOM message(ram use at time BY elemental was 1.3gb, ram free was approx 70
the paper money is only good for burning as it de-values so quickly, whereas gold usually increases in value faster than the de-valuation of paper currency. harpo
if you set the logitech software to use the wheel click as the THIRD mouse button it will, and I am using logitech trackman wheel's on my computers harpo
no, just as a goldmine owner with 50 years of production reserves. harpo
hold the third mouse button down(often the mouse wheel) and move the mouse forward and back and to the sides until you get the view you want this might not work on all mice, but it does with microsoft, logitech and other mice with 3 or more buttons harpo
elanaahova, I assume the ultimate spell in the wall street group would be 'global financial crisis' and causes all costs in all settlements in the world that do not have goldmines to increase every turn while the spell is maintained at a cost of 3 mana/turn. harpo
derek, the AVAILABLE ram on the computer was over 1gb, and yes the 7600 was also problematic back in the beta3, I do have other programs running in the background, including a old noroton systemworks withPM free displayed, along with task manager so that I can see the ram use, and elemental was the largest ram user(sorted by ram used in task manager) harpo
it did not help my OOM issues, as it still ooms about turn 250-260, BUT the elemental ram use HAS dropped at OOM to LESS than 1gb. harpo
started a new game on a elementerra 2 generated map 16 x 15 size 25 starts with all 10 stock races as ai and my custom race & sov, played for approx 2 hours then video driver crash, no zip, after re-booting computer, did a CLEAN install of the latest nvidia driver v266.58, loaded last save played on to OOM at another 4 hours, turn(season 259), <a title="first 1.19f oom" href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8023186/elemental%20crashes/Elemental1_19f-2011-03-11T16-09-21-718.zip" ta
what I want is FULL FEATURE co-op multiple player, and might even play with others online or in MY LAN but do NOT want competative stripped multiplayer. harpo
war of magic, the war part is ok, BUT the magic is so sick that it is almost dead due to starvation. please FEED the magic. harpo
I also HATE the MANY interuptions at the start of EACH and EVERY turn. it is the SINGLE MOST UNFUN fault in the game. harpo
I exit & reload, but see enough OOMS that I have several pages of posts about them since beta 2, and I do play continious games ie start elemental, start/load game and play to OOM, and on average after every three OOMS I re-boot th computer (FROM NEED not desire otherwise the system BSD reboots) harpo
search for LAA, the post is a few months old, and when used it does allow elemental to run until it has approx 3g-3.2gb ram used before it dumps and a link to a laa tool is in reply 186 in this thread hope this helps harpo

riley-kadin, the way I read this error message is that you are missing the file 'microsoft.vc80.crt' which (from memory it is part of the dotnet 3.5), but you might need to get the dotnet 4.0 to sort it out. I had also seen this during one of the patches of sins of a solar empire, and it took the dotnet 4.0 to fix it for me harpo
I prefer 128x128 large or larger and like 256x256, but as mentione byother posters the memory leak issue is MURDER, and I routinly get ooms and post them with the dxdiags and saves while testing on both 32bit & 64bit windows with each gpu manufacturer, but 64 bit with ati leak the most, but laa does help on 64 bit windows harpo
