Hello everyone. I'm away from any pc, at an uncle's house. I loved the drawings - seems like it's all landisaurus's and they are all impressive- and I wish good luck to you all and the developers. I'm at a notebook that soon will go away, and I miss reading the posts at the forum. I wish happiness to you all and for me, thats all that matters and life is short has we know. I hope to be able to be reading all the posts soon with enought time. We are all for the success of Elemental and its pla

I never managed to succeed in installing MoM. I tryed Dos but it was to slow to open menus and everything. Wall of Stone. It's nice the ones that affect the whole world, permanently and not, like a huge crater or a disease. But from Fallen to Human they might have different immunities. So, Summom Disease and that would afftect one of the two races.

lol, I didn't grasped that fences on the road too just the ones inside the village. At first it looked to me as some old kind of railroad even tough there isn't going to be a train and it goes strait to the door, because I couldn't understand it. Looks like there is a chest to northweast, a cyclop's house in the north and crystals to south; but just above the crystals, a pointy thing I didn't got too. And later on I noticed there is one person in the town, very nicely done in size.</p

Thats beatiful, very rich in details like each piece of the house roofs and cleary see the fence shape even from afar. I really liked this one a lot. I wonder how would that look in closer view. I like how they are, but aren't the trees to big? The pines are much taller than the walls and even taller than the multi-floor buildings. I think they would give more dimension being smaller, they make that place look like a very small village (or more than it is). Anyway, maybe there trees g

First impressions and I will mention terrain, which might be the player choice after all but from the name, thats what I first imagine from the game point: Kingdom of Altar - Religious, stone momuments... Kingdom of Yoren - Start close to forests, it remembers of elves. Have advantages for knowing it's dense woods. (or receive bonus when constructed there has a

I never saw elements or classes aside the classic ones but a few. I played a game that had classes like Balance, Storm, Ice aside those scheduled to Elemental. That was actually a fun online game and the producers said to have been making it's turn based magic system for 6 months, I've found it very fun and it is all oriented to PvP as to PvE (up to 6 in the same battle) and it is called Wizard 101. Never experienced any other magic system that was as deep and fun yet.

Since there is going to be like 100 spells, maybe the producers can use from suggestions and at the Beta a number of them might already be final. These are rather simple names: Fire Damage: Hell's Heat Earth Damage: Growing Force, Earthquake's Way Earth Buff: Entanglement L/D Damage: Nature's Wrath

Didn't you guys ever player a multiplayer game? You can't go back in there and as far as I know, it works. And really think it's a terrible idea to play a match against the AI without doing gameplay loads, even after having experienced the game a lot and played many matchs? Some Hardcore modes or more harder difficulties in games, offer small bonus, but nothing that anyone would miss in normal play. If extra content, I don't see why a terrible idea and I think many would try it too

Lets not distort things out shall we? I'm all for everyone playing a game has they like too and they should. I talking about the importance of having a protection against it and be it apart then if some strongly want the default method. And I know that many people used to do that and changed because it was constraining their enjoyment. I'm not generalizing that everyone would like the game without it. One of the most important things in human relationship that I see, is to respect one's indiv

I wish there be a province overview like in MoM, where you can the estructures you builted and an idea of your population size by seeing the people animation. Not essential but nice to see. (I guess there will be it already tough, since there was pictures of big structures shown...) And dungeons you can enter seems tricky, fun like was suggested somewhere. If two adversary Channelers met into a dungeon it be a nice dark enviroment to battle. Also, Id like that for the sake of Channele

That would work out, make the huge dragon in the enemy troop feel like dancing and I bet the whole army would begin to jump of the ground and get disoriented. You just need to spell the right song, maybe should try Dancing Queen first, for the obviousness.

Many players and the game itself can loose from not having another way that do not allow save-load. Many players use it and yet would be calling an AI dumb or something. If a naval fleet comes from the north and takes you unprepared has you are playing, you load that save some minutes before, and trow all defenses there just to see it get crushed. So, how important is to have an optional mode that protects the gameplay and thus everybody? A huge Adven

43 Replies 38,669 Views

Potentially game unbalacing events maybe optional, it's hard to think of it in other way. It can be fun but also without it at all can be fun too, in cases when they don't want anything else then abilities to interfere. But I'd enjoy more, events that you could defend from (at least a bit) instead o the ones you can do nothing about but suffer from. Like a earthquake would happen in the land but you could have made stronger structures or choose another place in the case that co

Score lost helps it's a nice idea, has it is at least telling the player to not resort to that if wants to follow the normal gameplay. Still maybe a complex system would be needed to know whenever the player is loading a game to go back to it or to make changes. But ideal, I think a Realistic Mode like was suggested, a system to really counter it, is better. And if there would be scores, you also get more by going Realistic Mode so both seems nice and then its ea

By the words, seems like there are sightly offended people just because they do it, know how it always made the games so easier for them, but don't like to admit it. I said nothing against people who do this, you guys didnt liked it because yourselves don't like to do this, exacly why I ask for discouragement of it. I used to do that for long especially when I didn't knew or wasn't experienced in the game and still I always had in mind that is wasn't the exacly way to be playin

So, found a mount that is better than... braes. I wish they make a lot of portraits and make a big customizability for the Channeler is the one character that can represent the player like said. Maybe even at the multiplayer games, players can have it's own more personalized Channeller, like pictures and some colors maybe. The heroes, I think you find them along your jorney and they might be random in the looks and we can't change them. But the Chann

I certainly don't have anything against anyone who uses it if really wants it that way, why would I anyway? In my own opinion, save-load turns the game more into larbor than challenge. I used it before (back at when I used to play Civilization: Call to Power) and stoped when I noticed that, exacly because you will win and you got a huge advantage over the AI. To lose a game can also be fun, especially when the game is well made to be fun all along and by loosing, you will enjoy when you

Yes, some change of variables was also adressed in Knights of honor based on game time instead. Probably aleatory but hard coded spaces of time; if your spy would fail even by loading many times it still will. I find these protections very important, without them it shorten the game life for the player. They should learn their mistakes and go along with them, to choose other strategies to cover were their failed and not repeat it in the next game. Most important thing imo, is exacly beca

I find combing quite fun in games where magic is involved and it may allow for strategies, would it work in elemental? After a combo attempt the caster would be very vulnerable because of the use of his powers or mana, so it would need precautions and probably be used has a final strike strategy and different combing allow for different results, but all quite expensive in power demands. Spells like a freeze or silence, after a meteor, or a self buff for protection just aft

100 spells are much more than I would expect. It doesn't need more than it, after all the spells need to be balanced and quality is preferable over quantity especially in this where spells are so important in the game. Better less that are cool (nicely animated) and usefull than tons of useless skills. I hope a big part of them will stand has ultimate ones (or usefull till late game), instead of only a few. I mean, that allow for different late game strategy instead of just a few ultimate one

Animations and design are very important indeed, more than some think I'd say. When well done, they add to replayability and create more sympathy towards the game from the player. I commented about that in a Demigod topic and also at Sins, in which the Strike Crafts general animation and AI was what added much replayability to me; I simply enjoy seeing them in action and how they play in the game too. And be clear that it isn't the same as graphical quality. I never had the chance to play MoM

Thank you. I like to keep editing and trying to improve draws while listening to music sometimes. I have edited that a lot . [e digicons]^_^'[/e] Still need to try more realistic fire, your last draw will inspire me better. I now see that I obsviously need more yellow there. You could make other versions of your last draw, like making that tiger come out (be aparent) since it fits perfectly. Than you have the slug and the tiger (panter?) version

52 Replies 217,113 Views

Aside the slug that I think it's the most aparent, I managed to see a wolf or tiger and a kind of triceratops. A tiger or wolf is very plausible, there is even the complete spectrum of a big rested tail, leg mussles and what could be the face.
