I'm sure any herbivory that can support a human, could be rided passively with effort. And I was wrong about horses being totaly superior, has I forgot camels are better for big desert trips has they can live many days without water even under that climate. Also elephants are used in dense forests or savanah, has wild animals do not atack them (and the condutor). Its just that the horse are so superior generaly ( especially for warfare, that is the case in this game (don't kno
Will there be a way to add content other than units? Why not adding some custom dungeons (with the ability to create the dungeon map, the creatures, place them, place traps, maybe even events like, for instance, push that lever to open thaht door, water level rises or you have 4 turns to reach the exit, etc... !!! )
I know players will be able to add new Spells other than Units. Maps will probably all be randomly gene
I really hope they don't foccus only in the multiplayer aspect and features, because I really like singleplayer and is usually what I play most. I will expect the AI to be fun and smart to play with (like in GalCivII or better). I think it will be good, Frogboy said the AI will even adapt to Mods which is great.
Nice to know that the AI will adapt to mods. I play Single Player a lot. I hope this game manage to have an attractive multiplayer tough, with co-op. I'm sure I'll join this one. I really think the custom stuff will be somewhat balanced for this game. This will be just a matter of having some different things for your many games, with also different stats/characteristics. Balanced content will have a separated section, and Stardock might test and guarantee the most popular ones.
Sounds really good. I guess this wouldn't work for SP since how the AI would identify what is better to produce? (I hope this game have SP...) If there is I hope this path don't let the SP too limited in production for the ones who like it. Hope its another feature, and not one that would exist and eventualy cover other productions. If not, is just great to allow, seems viable, and will certainly be used and make the matchs more different and varied, without changing the vanila gameplay way s
Quoting psychoak, reply 16 Flyguy, horses are the mount of choice because they're cheap and relatively bright. There is actually a surprisingly wide variety of animals that would work very well for mounts, they're just cost prohibitive, rare, or both. The main factor is domestication, horses can be and live off grass, bears can't and have a much stickier diet. Bears would probably make outstanding cavalry if you could afford to capture and raise them in numbers sufficient
The game is just colorful and the graphic don't look deep yet because isn't finished. If you look the character/creatures models or faces, they are not cute. Most people like and isn't to much influenciable over graphics, likeing the different kinds there are. There are many games out there you can call 'cartoon', and if you don't feel confortable with that, you are the one restricted from enjoying many good games. A lot of fantasy games choose a colorful look and fit to it, the same thing is
I like the 'Chickens of Doom' model a lot. Grow the chicken and what you have is something like the Chocobo of FF, or better yet, the small dinos (Ostrich, Ostards) of Ultima Online. To decide upon mounts, they must first create the world idea, or the magic that lies there. Ultima Online for exemple, is only Horses and the Ostards (and the very rare possibility of tamming a rideable Dragon, but not for the masses). Thats what was avaliable, with no need of explanations, feeling good and speci
Thats exacly my card, I bought it some months ago. I have Dead Space and is just very smooth. I use the max settings except for resolutions. I use 1024x768 (or lower) for all games (even if the card can handle more), that is my monitor resolution, so I never get to force it. Graphics can easily be pretty enougth for me. There was no time I wished more from any game that the card could not provide me. Its very good at cost-benefit. It just freaked me out how hot it can get by default a
Thanks for the responses. Let me go off topic, some are talking about Master of Magic, are there patchs of graphical enhacements for it? Be it fan or company. Give me link or title please.
I want to try something Elemental is being inspired of. Being it AoW what would be the best version of it in the opinion of you who played? I think there is AoW, AoWII and AoW:SM in this order of release right? What the best game experience? Gameplay mostly.
While I don't have anything against that, it could be different side by side. Instead of Men and Fallen have each 6 factions, Men could have 6 and Fallen just 3 but these 3 be more variable/different. It would be more in-deth, allows for better storytelling, leting things more realistic (immersive) and less symmetric. Games tends to follow these symmetrical correlations a lot, would be likeable to change.
At first 99% human batles may not sound fun, but it's for higther fun actualy. This means each creature will be valuable, rare and fun to have, it will have overall more consideration. If someone explore and is able to find an unicorn, that by the tales is very very rare, then it can protect your armies and heal them. They will be strategic units. Just like they said having 2 or 3 Dragons means you won. I liked that so much, because that means fantastic units are very important and thus more
Isn't that a whole point of the game? To decide between having power to your Channeler or to use it to ipgrade the kingdom? Its the whole point. If you be greedy and use it a lot for the kingdom progress, your Channeler will be weaker and you may die. I think we are the Channeler just like in Demi God (but i can be wrong). I think it needed to finish if he dies because that will make the gamaplay more intense and people be more careful about it. I don't have much know
Hello! I have a couple of questions already! 1. The graphics looks a bit weird to me, especially the trees and the environement. This part of the game will be upgraded? Also, can we modify the graphics also? [Environement, items, units, etc.]
Taken from the Journals: "Screenshots... The graphics seen in the screenshots are still very early on. The lighting and such aren't really in yet. The idea is to con
Or is the game developed to allow to play the others? If so, but apart from that, will each faction have its own kingdom/structures style/method (say, dragon caves), or are they just powerfull NPCs that wander about and only the Human race take part in kingdom organization and diplomacy between them?
Very nice. I really like the art concept of the game and the idea.
