I remember one bug in particular that would mute the sound whenever a movie played, and you had to restart the game to fix it. Also, a lot of city improvements didn't do what the tool-tip said they would and some were just plain ol' broken. Performance was also a major

Very few PC games have a perfectly smooth launch these days. I think the only companies to consistently pull it off are Valve and Blizzard, and they're clearly the exception.

I hope Brad is keeping a list of all the review sites that are stabbing him in the back and makes a mental note to NOT let them review any future Stardock releases. I think part of that might be due to the same reason that Best Buy broke the release date with impunity: Stardock doesn't have the clout to protect itself. I doubt that publications are paid-off
Also, I recommend unchecking "Enable Auto Turns" in the options so your turn doesn't automatically end. It's too hard to tell exactly when a turn has ended otherwise.

No performance improvement for me in the 3D map. I have a very old system, so I wasn't expecting miracles, but it's still slightly disappointing. Oh well, good thing I love playing from the cloth map view. Seriously, I actually prefer it to the 3D map. [e classic]:D[/e]
