Dodge is actually more important than armor if both players have at least plate. With the dodge cape and the the heavy plate shield one can avoid almost 1/3 more of the the enemy's attacks assuming they go the usual hammer and battleaxe route. Heroes can push the advantage further with dexterity and magical items. The only thing that can really counter a high level dodge focused hero is the company level units with very good armor. The AI has yet to commit to larger groups, so he
I have only had a little time to play the new a version, but already I notice an AI that is well armed and good at expanding. They teched up to battelaxes almost instantly and pumped out enough pioneers to make a sailor blush. My usual strategy involves letting them expand and set up all the towns I want, then declaring war and steamrolling their poorly defended cities. This time the AI was ready for me, training axed soldiers and sending them to the front faster than I could kill the
What about a spell that allows much faster strategic map movement? I think a +3 to move and +2 to sight would be great for scout units. Of course it would be at level 4 or so.
Well, there was a bug in 1.19 that allowed one to cast infinite arcane weapon on a unit. That is the only instance I know of.
Where is mana held in the game? Is it in the Soveirgn? It is certainly taken out of the Crystals. So then where is it being stored? I think it would be interesting to have buildings that hold mana. That way there could be a decay rate and a trade off between money and mana, assuming maintenance for these magical repositories is rather high. What say you?
Capitalism is powerful because the government can create economic incentives to make the populace do just about anything. And we only need to conserve power until 2060 or so. That is when the whole fusion power thing kicks in and we just don't have to care anymore. I do apreciate, Lord Xia, that you are progressively not caring about power usage. Such a futurist this guy. In kind: We only need to recycle metal until the first asteroid mining prison is built. We
Well I have windows vista and am still wondering how that company justifies outdating a product so quickly that costs so much money. Did they break some kind of record or something? I should get the update to 7 for free IMO. Or at least better update support, which would cost them more than just handing over the Win7 I think. Here is my OS history: Win95==>Millenium Edition===>Vista Premium. So Win95 is the best OS ever according to my personal experience.
Will this mod add new pieces to my tile construction set?
Way to green it up! I recycled my recyclable bins the other day. Now they are just bins.
My bus doesn't get me home till 5. Why bother releasing it until I get home. Don't you realize what you are doing to me? Can someone post about it before I leave? I need to live vicariously on some feedback here. I been jonesing for 1.19a since Monday. I need an EWoM fix ASAP.
Armor is only over powering if your enemy is not using any. Didn't you say the AI was unarmored? I am confused about what to post AI wise since we found out the AI tags (much of its smarts) are not properly functioning.
I will pay anything as long as the gameplay is there. This is why I don't generally like MMOs, they make pong look like Gal Civ 2 in any case. I am still waiting for internet and computing technology to increase to the point where an MMO is better than a SP game. I have always wanted to play an FPS with one to five people acting as commanders and playing an RTS over our heads. I envision another player presiding over this game as the supreme commander, TBS. He only plays two

Disciples 3 is a pretty good party RPG. I would just like it if they updated their forums more often.
Remember when this was a thread about the wonderful future? I think we can get there again. Just ignore some of these guys and make a separate thread to argue over things that ultimately don't matter at all, your opinions that is. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] I would like to know more about time frames for these projects and the division of labor.
But where is the reality show branch of the road map? If you want to payroll these games, reality TV is the way to go.
Lol. I must have missed this problem because every faction for me gets a refugee camp. Is this the only thing the tags would affect or are there more subtle issues I am just not noticing?
Now in all fairness this may have been the dragon leader's final revenge, but the screen said OoM so I figured I better post it anyways. Saved Game: http://www.mediafire.com/?95jy465kyk79fad Debug: http://www.mediafire.com/?95jy465kyk79fad Picture of Dragon Fight: http://scree
Can we expect some Demandabot inspired changes then?
When will you guys post some information about Fallen Enchantress's differences and core game features? Not expecting it soon, but I am very curious to see the difference. Also, do you guys plan now how much time/resources can go into each branch of the road map? How much modding software can we hope to see before the Enchantress takes over our interest? And finally, will 1.3 EWoM add new features?
Will wait here patiently for something clever to say... [e digicons]-_-[/e]
Charisma lowers cost of heroes.
Every time I load a save I find the diplomacy screen has lost all of its data. IN the following pic you should see a large list of interactions between a few factions I have been waring with. Instead all you get is a blank screen. I have treaties and have murdered many of the Altair royalty and they just don't seem to remember. That is good I guess, but it kind of makes me feel guilty. http://screencast.com/t/7j5NOq7Kot
I had an awkward conversation with Arvix last week. The game told him to ask for a very large number in our negotiations for his hire. I had to break it to him that a 15hp hero with a steak knife and padded vest is just not worth that much on the open market. Needless to say, he cried a lot after that. If we could get this fixed, I think it would save the feelings of a lot of our nation's heroes. The error occurred in the mid game, around turn 280. When I had to load a
