For all we know, the FE tactical is the best...

This game is less Civ than WoM. Tiles having value is a necessary step in the right direction. Also, Civ has changed so much from the first, you could say that Picasso's cubism is too much like Civ. Also, make sure we get some idea of quest capabilities when next you post, Frogboy. I am killing to find out. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
I have long ago decided that I will have to make everything myself. So... I don't get shot down until other people see my mod and immediately delete it.
The wait continues...
This has been a long time coming. It would save me so much time if I would designate the tiles, write the dialog boxes, pick the loot, pick the enemies, and pick the tactical map from one screen. There is alot of room to improve the quest system by adding AI scripts (like attack only the heroes). It would also be nice to be able to have a quest location do a larger variety of actions (spawn monsters, give multiple new quests, present choices that affect the outcome, remember what happened in
I thought the point was that blessing or not blessing is a courtesy. God knows how you choose to live your life and what your ultimate fate will be. We are simply saying, "gosh I hope you get in too." [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Hexerei Beschwörung und bezaubernd: A book of what we hope are imagined stories. Curses, conjuration, and enchanting is a spellbook common to all, as it has been made into bedtime stories that have spread to every child in every realm. The truth of some very dark, very German, magic is rooted in these tales. There are many copies of the stories, but few old
Uota F ides: Prayers of Faith This book instructs the reader on how to embark on spiritual journeys. Although these prayers would be called spells by any other wizard, the Sovereign that has managed to obtain Uota Fides knows better. These prayers are tests given to man by the gods, the good ones we think. One such prayer blinds the target for 7 years (28 turns). Du
Aeternis Tenebris: the knowledge of darkness. We in this this lackluster realm have become comfortable with the idea that darkness is merely the absence of light. In Elemental darkness with be tangible. With the book of eternal darkness you can gain power of the things that live in the dark. You can bend them to your will, use them to fit your darkest desires. This kind of magic pervades every corner. It has immense potential: shadowgates, teleportation, summoning, scouting, subterfug
Thanks to Google Translate I will begin putting my spellbook titles in Latin as it should be. Dominationem I nsectorum: a book containing the power to control fiendish bugs. This book will involve conjuring queens to supplement or even supply an army. Buildings could be unlocked to allow ones city to become a breeding ground for various monstrosities. It would be nice to infect the enemy, or perhaps battlefield corpse
That is a bug that might be hard to squash. Have you tried clicking on the city info screen and going to rename city? My guess is that you may be reloading the game after having quit. Does this happen when you play straight through without stopping? There are always problems with the data getting messed up when you load an old game. On a side note, you seem to have raised a daughter that likes videogames. Families like you are the reason I serve to make this natio
How does the AI know what a spell does? How does the AI know when to use a particular strategy?
Recent knowledge of spell mechanics has led to a really good idea for magic focused nations. 1.Spell Lock: Level 5 spell, end of the magic tech tree, rather high cast cost. All enemy spells will be countered for one round. 2. Barrier: Level 4 Spell. All aerial attacks and enemy projectile magic is blocked for one round. 3. Aura of Protection: Level 3 Spell. All enemy projectiles are null for five rounds. These are only a f
I think any Game of thrones game should be text based. It really fits the story better.
No! Use the After the War mod. It patches so many bugs and fixes some really glaring gameplay issues.
I hope there is a Buffybot reference when Siobhan and Bridgett meet next.
Just want to comment on Gellar's new show. After three episodes I have to say it feels like the production team and the writers have been working together for years. The plot is coherent, involving several subplots while keeping a consistent focus on the season's overarching story. The acting is really very good, Gellar is certainly not carrying this show as many may assume. I suppose my favorite aspect is how Ringer is able to create suspense every episode without
I have been noticing alot of typos in thread titles of late. I apologize if this is uncouth buy they really make me cringe since I see them everyday. It should be work* as the action is negated. I wish I was born to a more logical language, but we are stuck with this one.
Actually I am still trying to get rid of this damn tail... [e digicons]:|[/e] [e digicons]8|[/e] [e digicons]o_O[/e]
Can't wait for the day when there are no books. We have to retitle "Fahrenheit 451" to "Small Puddle of Water." At least the firemen part will be less confusing.
Mounts would do better to add sprint to the unit, conferring no speed bonus.
Post looks like you do not have the ability to train any units. What a terrible language.
Do you have the After the War mod?
There will also likely be wild factions that are just unassailable until the very endgame. I get the feeling there will be alot of that. I for one plan to make Illyria, the ancient kraken from the beginning of time. She will lie dormant in a mausoleum, guarded by the greatest champion from a horrible hell dimension. If you defeat her keeper and manage to release her, she will posses one of your champions, becoming nearly immortal. </p
It would be nice if questing presented a whole different set of spellbooks at level 5. These books would be one per game and impossible to get through the magic tree. Spells should be a commodity traded between friends. It would really help justify the diplomacy tree.
