Calling beta "fun" right now would be stretching the truth a bit. Especially since for some people it still doesn't even work. There isn't exactly a lot "game" in there yet either. I'm hoping maybe with this next patch it will be bug free enough and have enough content to START being fun.

Not a bad idea. [quote] (I think if you want to see how many people watch them you just need to ask more questions questions... although it c

These videos are awesome! Please keep it up, and that from someone who is already in beta. I thought the "Gulliver Mod" was hilarious. I expect to find a load of bugs in the graphics once that finally gets turned on. Also glad to see more content is going into the game. Combined with that and the economy display I'm hoping we have enough information and content to actually test the economy. :D

I prefer a diplomacy option to "expel" intruders from your territory or force them to declare war at a negative penalty to their diplomacy. But teleportation is a lot better than what happens in most other 4x games. It worked okay in my opinion for Galciv 2. I just don't think it is optimal.

All the .xml files can be modded as well. I'm not bothering with much of anything at this point because we don't know how much is going to change. Around beta 3 I'll probably start working on it. I've already got art submissions though from one of the artists who wants to work with me.

I for one would love to see a dedicated forum to modding Elemental when beta is further along.

I'm intending to create a race mod of "Fae" for the Elemental setting. I'll try to adapt traditional Fae folk legends to the setting as closely as possible. For those who want an "Elven" mod I'm sure some usable assets will be produced from the project. I am not however trying to create Tolkien inspired elves in any form.

Brad mentioned in his recent video that they didn't know what to do with the Fog of War on the map view. Personally I'd like to see them stick with the map motif. Perhaps the map could be "unrolled" as you explore out? Or somehow show that it is being inked on (a big bottle of ink and quill can sit in the largest unexplored region). In any case I think the art direction and motif is very good and I hope you stick with it!

Make sure to adjust the colors in visual settings so you can see the subtle hues and shades that indicate a different environment type. The areas surrounding a dragon statue for instance are a

At the bottom of every email advertisement is a link titled "Manage email subscriptions". Then you can submit an email address for removal. It works.

What are the asterisks? (Edit: this was covered in the updated game rules) and why the dude walking on water in the middle? Someone already has the water walking buff, that might not be a good sign!

Woo Hoo! Where do I start and how much mana do I start with? "In the land emerges Rishkith, a Channeler who seeks the magical power of the Elemental Shards. His Power and Ambition are destined to leave a mark upon the lands of Elemental"

I was gone for the weekend, but yes I'd be very interested. I'm an old school roleplayer so I'd love this sort of thing, and since I'm still unemployed I've got no shortage of time! As an added bonus I've done this type of thing for WotC before.
