Confirmed this 100% occurence.
Seconded very much. It would also be nice to have an idea of what techs might immediately be unlocked after finding that tech
I can confirm that researched techs don't change color even 9 deep into a field.
Tried to load my game from last night. WHich was hurriedly saved over a previous updates game. Game crashed when loading. debug.err
Debug Message: Map Random Seed: 1259887743 Couldn't found a city on the square I started on due to the error message shown. Square appeared clear (hidden resource?). Later on I couldn't build into that empty square either.
Application hang after pressing turn button (turn 100 ish?) debug.err So next step, remove the Fallen Kraxis from my opponents list though I'm not certain it caused the problem.
Can't wait to see it. A robest political/diplomatic system is one of the main things I find fun in 4X games, especially in the later game when all the exploring is done. I really like the numerical system as well. Even for those of us who know how to code would just assume avoid it if it isn't necessary.
Any chance of an update to the schedule? I'm guessing we're skipping 1c and moving to 1d or later? any other longer term changes?
Yes, but for that matter neither would wearing a layer of cloned human flesh because of the immune systems of the human tissue and assumed immune system of the alien being. It is Science FICTION for a reason. Here is a question I've been trying to figure out. What do the aliens want this time? I don't think it is water and food like before. I'm guessing they want a new home and intend to replace us.
I like it, but only warfare should be "battle" unlockables like the example. I'd also love to see diplomacy unlockables based on interactions with AIs (i.e. unlockable trade posts if you have trade with 3 or more civs), Exploration based unlockables for the Civ tree., maybe quest based unlockables for Magic.
Actually I went back on AOW a long long time ago and went back to MoM. AOW just never impressed me as much as it seems to have others. But EWOM will be the game to replace MoM for me, I'm sure of that.

Customization and uniqueness (particularly having differences when it comes to trade) without the need to micro-manage. Several games have made economy management okay. I don't know that any of them have yet made it fun.
Oh it wouldn't surprise me if Gamestop was playing dirty. But even if they didn't it is going to happen anyways. I myself shrug it off. Little game stores like Gamestop are going the way of the dinosaur. Soon they'll be extinct and not even know why. Shoppers are wising up and realizing they don't have to put up with the garbage. But the big killer is digital distribution from Steam, Impulse, and others. People want digital distribution BADLY. The smart retailrs that I
You need to start and end everything with a tag I gift you with tags of [Stardock Owner] [/Stardock Owner] Also, Frame this in your office (Warning: Naught Gamer Language)
Regarding walls Right now each city comes with a ready made wooden wall, I think that this shouldn't be the case and that each wall segment in your city should be built by the player for 2 main reasons: 1. I find it an immersion killer to see mines and farms inside the city walls.
Having lived in the middle east with a view of one of those ancient city walls from my apartment... I would find it an immersion killer to have all
I intend to do this sort of thing with the mod race I'm creating. So yeah, I support this idea. Plus the more tools they can give me for it the better.
Mass chain vendors like Gamestop are ALWAYS going to have a few stores that release titles early. Same with books and the big bookstore chains. You get masses of books/software in. These masses of titles are stocked by hundreds if not thousands of minimum wage and minimally trained disposable employees. The companies see no financial model that makes it profitable to take the kind of steps necessary to make sure those kind of mistakes don't happen. A street date slips and what happens
If there was a way that each AI could only calculate your military strength by what was visible to them on the map that would be good. I also have another concern. I know a lot of modders aren't going to put a ton of work into it (I hope to put a ton of work into mine, but not everyone will). So will there be a way to streamline the conversation tree optionally? If there isn't, oh well get back to work slackers! I am more concerned about the race issue discussed. So when I cre
Ahhhh, one patch a month! My hemorrhaging just got worse. I want you to know that you're responsible for turning me to the dark side. Literally. While I'm waiting I've actually started playing evil factions for Galciv 2 because total ownage playing as the Iconians has gotten too easy. P.S. - Xbox 360? Don't you know your kids need a Wii?
I'd love to see "Paint on Cloth" and "Life is Returning" in full screen versions. Thanks though, I already picked one as my new wallpaper.
Good job Stardock
You are the blue marker, colors got mixed up. You can look at the rules thead to be sure. Might want to rethink your move with that.
