This is great news, I had feared we wouldn't see another update until 1.3. I appreciate that Stardock is still putting out incremental bugfixes. I may actually start playing Elemental again this weekend, I haven't played since the pre-release candidate in August.

For example, an appropriate "win-condition" for a diplomatic player would be a grand project using all their ties and connections across all the civilisations and populations across the world until finally, finally assassin dopplegangers were in place to assassinate every other ruler and leave me as the undisputed ruler of the land. ...[/quote] I like this idea. A lot.
Does the game have to end when a victory condition is met? See my thoughts on the idea here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/387850

If you do, and the folder is still not there, then an uninstall and re-install via Impulse should take care of it.

After loading the save game found in this post (where I expereinced a CTD): https://forums.elementalgame.com/388739 I can't reproduce the crash, but I notice some odd things (see screenshot): The hud label for my city has a different color (Blue instead of green), but the influence sphere and other aspects are still green. My city has a different name. (Should be called Milford) Bu
I've only had a couple play-throughs but wasn't able to duplicate this. I meant to report this last night before the 0.92 release, but, well, I fell asleep. Sorry! Game crashed to desktop with no error displayed. A dump file was created. Prior to the crash I was pretty tired, mostly just zooming the camera around. I'm not sure but I think my last action was to click on a gold mine to see it's information. Link: <a href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6404129

Just fired up Elemental with the saved game above, and I was unable to reproduce the crash. Moving the Caravan into the city of Milford, the Caravan faded away and a road to Detroit appeared. After clicking the turn button I was able to see the mini-Caravan heading back to pick up goods from Detroit. Don't you just hate un-reproduceable errors? I did notice, however, that Elemental.exe is using only 758 MB versus the 1gig+ shown above. I'm guessing that's because
Greetings Elemental Beta Testers! I could really use some help getting some more space for my DropBox folder. As some of you know, it's StarDock's recommended tool for sharing crash dumps, screen shots, and other files associated with debugging and beta testing Elemental. If you download and install DropBox and sign up for a free account using the link below, I get an extra 250 MB of storage as a referral bonus - about how much data I generate with each stage of the

Crashed to Desktop without displaying an error message. Last action I remember was watching Janus (NPC whom I recruited) being killed by bandits during a level 1 bandit quest. After that big storm we had yesterday (I live near Stardock and lost power for a couple hours)... minor flash floods, trees kocked down, etc... I feel pretty bad for them to have had to deal with that during crunch time.
Are sure the file you're linking is within the public folder? I and my colleagues have been using the free version of dropbox and we can confirm that you do not have to pay to get public links. Paid accounts are just for adding extra storage.

I love this idea. It's one of those thing I had always wished had been added to GalCiv. You may want to add [CUSTOMIZATION: UI] to the subject of your post to make it easier to catergorize.
Example: I'm struggling a little bit in game, and getting bored. I decide to exit the game to do something else, and I get the message: "Are you sure you want to quit? A few more turns wouldn't hurt..." OK, OK... I'll keep playing a little longer. Eventually, I start having fun. I'm even pretty excited. I've got plans and things in motion. I'm offered a Draginol Quest - sounds even more fun! So I take the quest, compl

Please, oh please, allow us to e able to change the difficulty level of AI players during the game! This is a feature I've been looking for in TBS strategy games for two decades. Typically, in the past, I'd have to cheat on behalf of the AI by trading all kinds of free stuff to them mid or late game, but still, the challenge was gone. Let us bring back that challenge by being able to change their difficulty level during the game! Or at least put in the hooks for it
