Great report. This is really helpful.

Hi,

Thanks for the nice report.  However, when I loaded your game up and moved the caravan onto the city in your picture, I wasn't able to reproduce the crash.  When you load up that save game yourself and do the same thing, does it crash for you again?  If so, could you send the .dmp file (if created) from your Program Data/Stardock/Elemental folder?  Thanks.

Just fired up Elemental with the saved game above, and I was unable to reproduce the crash.

Moving the Caravan into the city of Milford, the Caravan faded away and a road to Detroit appeared. After clicking the turn button I was able to see the mini-Caravan heading back to pick up goods from Detroit.

Don't you just hate un-reproduceable errors?

I did notice, however, that Elemental.exe is using only 758 MB versus the 1gig+ shown above.  I'm guessing that's because it's a fresh launch of the game with only a few turns having been played

I do see some references in the debug.err file though such as Debug Message:  WARNING: Could not find animation sub pack 'K_Wagon_Idle_Animations' for animation pack 'WagonAnimationPack

Link via DropBox:  Debug.err of the couple turns I've done since reloading.

Ok, thanks for looking into it again for me.  I apologize for asking for a crash dump, since only just now I see that you mentioned you got no crash dump in the title of your post :).  Knowing it is not necessarily reproducible from a save game is helpful, though, if only because we know it isn't necessarily fixed just because the save game doesn't crash.

As for the messages about the missing animation subpacks, I did notice those, but was getting the same errors without a crash on my machine, so they were likely not the cause.  I think you actually got the errors earlier in the file, too, likely when you unstationed the caravan for the first time.
