It doubles mine. 14 instead of 7. 30 instead of 15. etc.

The buff doubles tactical spell cost, not halves it.
Anytime a Shrill Lord hits one of my champions after they've started a cast time, but before the spell has gone off, the UI goes haywire. If the champion does not resist Titan's Breath they are knocked down. When their init comes up they are unable to cast (the UI is gray no matter where you place the spell, in my case Blizzard) and you can't skip them. Only option is to hit auto resolve. Even if you cast blizzard at a spot where there are no friendly troop
Because of my tech level I can only have 5 armies stationed in my city at one time at the moment. However when I go to put a sixth army in the city the only feedback I get from the game is a gong sound. It took me a moment to figure out why, but no big deal. To knew players, I imagine this would be frustrating and/or confusing.
On the main screen the "Show Tile Yields On Map" button, located above the faction power list does nothing. Whether the icon is enabled or disabled I never see yields on the map. Edit: Check that. It shows them only in certain portions of the map though not necessarily where I'm looking at the moment.
At the end of two successive battles in my capital caused by wandering monsters my peasant defenders performed the death animation after combat, as the victory screen was coming up. In both cases the peasants were fine and still there after the battle. It was just a wayward animation. In both cases the peasants WERE attacked during combat but lived. I don't have a save, but now I have autosaves happening every turn in case the issue repeats itself.
His argument that the Demigod and WoM samples are biased is sound though, so his dismissal of them is acceptable. This is why Frogboy gave other examples.
The assertion that " Also, most multiplayers will learn a game in singeplayer before they bring their game to the lobby. Downloads are supposed to go live at 3pm today. Brad said in another thread that the emails don't really matter. If you are supposed to get the beta today based on date of purchase, then it'll show up in your downloads on stardock.com at the same times as everyone else's regardless of whether or not you got the email.
You don't need the email if you're here already. The
AHAHAHAHAHA.... so what is this, now!??! I just got the email. I truly hope that Stardock delivers what it set out to with Elemental:WoM. It was very generous to offer Elemental:FE free of charge to those who trusted enough and wished to desire new voices in the game industry to buy WoM relatively early in its beta. Thank you, and I sincerely look forward to your FUTURE SUCCESS IN ELEM
I'm guess Fallen Enchantress isn't showing up yet? I look through my history and it shows I got Elemental Limited edition August 1, so I should get early access, just don't see anything about FE on there yet.
Official launch for beta is the 19th.
So we should wait until the beta release to start a debate on the unique units system. Naysayers seem to miss the point that A faction's traits are what make their unique units desirable. Sure Umber could make a few Magebane soldiers. But it wouldn't really be helpful without the Pariden's traits to allow them to reach their full potential. I am sure there are a few units that will cross over nicely to other factions. I, howev
I also think dropping any attachment to Elemental might be a good idea. Frogboy you seem like a great guy...but you should not even be doing the AI. Frogboy has made more than one reference to lobbying Derek for this or that feature to help him
And keep it non-personal, please. While you're replying from Elemental, the OP is on WinCustomize and personal stuff isn't well received here. It trivializes the complexity of the issues involved. Of course many of the legislators involve
Under the City Details screen I noticed you scrolling your improvements list up and down, but there's no scroll bar or other indicator that the list extends beyond the field of view. How are new players going to know to try to scroll down to see what else is listed? Other than the new UI looks fantastic. Hell, the whole thing looks fantastic. Can't wait for beta.
I'd vote for Total Annihilation if it was in the past 10 years. I'll go with Morrowind instead. I disagree with the majority here. I think you should keep the Elemental name and make sure people know that it is a successor (or re-envisioning, whatever) to WOM. People who are on this forum likely already have the game due to early purchase of WOM or already have a strong enough interest that they're going to buy it. New players are those that were probably somewhat interested in WOM but stayed away after seeing how badly it was ripped apart by the
Can you kill the spider separately from the champion? Or do they share a hit point pool?
Kantok, the unit becomes smaller the more you zoom in in the strategic map. In the screenshot below you see what size the chasm hexagon rocks actually are in game. Compare them to the size of the hexagons in the shot in the OP, and you understand that the shot is zoomed in. A lot.
Obviously that shot is zoomed in a lot. I've played many hours of WOM and understand how it scales units as you zoom.
Well it's just a really zoomed in strategic view with grids turned off. If you played WoM you know how the unit scaling works when you zoom in. I don't get what all the fuzz is about. You probably never zoom that much in when actually playing.
Look at the size of his unit. It's clearly not zoomed in very far. The creature in the chasm is just huge. Plus the landscape is pretty much the antithesis of
Quoting Kantok, reply 5Are we ever going to see you win a battle? You may not be happy with the AI yet, but it always seems to be knocking you around. Maybe you should stick to BF3 That wasn't related to the AI, that was just a bigger monster army. The AI still sucking has to do with how it uses its resources, moves around its units, makes use of magic and how it performs in tactical battles.<
