For the borders, maybe either: Replace the simple thick line with a nice, flowing, utterly fake language. (Think Middle-Earths Elvish) Or have something less POP (which I assume is "wanted" for ease of reference) like again, the flowing script idea, but built more into the earth, in your colour. I'd be willing to take on the job, I think, if, gods forbid, you up and vanish. I think there are several more qualified/longer 'round people that would be willing, however. But, I'll be here, if need be. As for you, Sir Raven of the Awesome Chair, keep kicking long as you can. It wouldn't be the same around here without your opinions, or your candor.

I'll take a peak through your current list and think about it. No promises. I enjoy semi-trolling a lot, but I would like to contribute a bit more than sideline funny remarks and the occasional idea. Whatever your health problems are, good luck with them, and if you disappear, I hope you reappear soon enough. You amuse me. [e digicons]:D[/e] But again, no promises yet. The only reply I have is - you guys seems to be getting much more disconnects that I did. You bought a game from a company that considers the PC platform bottom tier - put the blame where it belongs.
See, if he weren't disconnected from Steam so frequently, I'd agree with you. Psychologists can go take a hike - they have lots of fallacious ideas that are better left out of the mainstream. I think the whole "you RPG who you really want to be" has been discredited for about 20 years, also with the idea that people stop being able to tell reality from fiction if they RP too much. Then again, with some people I meet...
Urge, to make, Jac

Like DethAdder said, IW came out and pretty much gave a middle finger to their PC customers. It was unfortunate those customers opened up their wallets anyway.
Don't get me wrong. Steam is entirely part of the problem, especially if he's having that many disconnects. I'm simply saying the not

Finally picked up the entirety of GalCiv 2 from the huge discount. Much love for you folks there. I always really, really wanted to get into Sins, but I could never play it for more then a few minutes by my lonesome. Maybe the expansion packs will change that. . . Here Stardock, have more of my money. You've earned it.

I think you might have a more specific problem, Charles, with Steam. I haven't D/Ced from Steam in a week or so, so I'm due for one. But the last time I had a major one (more than 10/15 minutes) was during the Altitude week. And, I was wrong on MW2, sorry about that. They aren't selling it because it does require Steam. Which is annoying, to say the least. I know BF:BC2 is sold elsewhere at least.

Punkbuster is a miserable failure. As for MW2 server problems, that's IWs fault, not Steam, giving you things like "Host Migration" and "Server Disconnected" issues. The only time Steam is the issue is when you get the "Steam Disconnected" problem. Which, unless you have some sort of serious Steam malfunction, is a moderately uncommon occurrence. You can play BF:BC2 AND MW2 over Direct2Drive, EA Online Store, GamersGate (I think? I don't remember)

We actually already. . .uh, hrm *Digs about in the forums a moment* Ah-hah! https://forums.elementalgame.com/382205 It's on sale for 15 bucks (plus tax obviously) and well, well worth it. I bought it for 30 from the makers themselves, so I felt slightly cheated. . .for about 5 seconds, then realized I've gotten 50 dollars (or more) worth out of this title, so I still feel great about it. Give it a go, either way.

The Xbox hardware is inferior but having 10+ million people fire up a single breathing community on a daily basis is just amazing. I despise Comrade. I still use the Download Manager D2D first used (even if I have to go trawling through FilePlanet to get it on reformat). Like SumoX said, it sucks RAM pretty heavily, takes a long while to boot and when it does, it's subject to any number of rather serious problems. It ain't getting back on my computer, that's for sure.
