No, it didn't. When the Microsoft firewall blocks their own systems, you already know they can't run their own shit, let alone fix someone elses. :)
psychoak
Capping pirates is better for making money anyway. The missions are trivial.
Those aren't worth a new OS, sorry. :)
Hah! I can't even pay for sex!
You always wait for the first service pack to switch, that's just common sense. The biggest problem with Vista is it's useless. For about 99% of the population. 32 bit Vista has little use. All those performance features require ram. Sure you can load all your programs into memory and save loads of time, but you still need the ram. If you have eight gigs of ram, even 64 bit XP just doesn't matter. It can use it, but i
If this is a civ style progression, then yes, an epic game lasts centuries or millenia. Alexander the great conquered most of the known world well within a single lifetime. Centuries aren't exactly a pre-requisit for world conquest. If he hadn't discovered Persian women he'd probably have kept going. I expect Elemental will be on a larger scale, but it's not a foregone conclusion. I'm more interested in gameplay though, having a fake system
Ok people, you obviously don't explore your software. Drag and drop. It's like sex for the gui. If you want a text file in your list of games, it's simple drag and drop. If you want to put your porn collection in Impulse, it's simple drag and drop. It can even have it's own tab... You can't add text files to Steam unless you create an executable to run them. You can't add anything to Steam by drag and drop. Stea
If you master the use of wardogs, invincibility is your state of existence. Four sets of them pretty much guarantees an army suffers little to no casualties against equal forces. When you're killing the enemy at 100-1 or better ratios, you don't have weak flanks. I do however suicide the fairies. Yeah yeah yeah, I'm a bigot, blow me.
I'd just like to mention how utterly badass that particular function is. It's Bruce Campbell, replete with chainsaw and boomstick, badass.
Nesrie, the Nobel prize is awarded by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. That the Nobel prize has mostly gone to real economists and avoided political tripe to the degree it has is a miracle. Socialists can study economics just fine, it's history they tend to ignore. Krugman for instance, which is surely one of the people you're thinking of, is just a pond scum socialist that gets caught lying to support his views regularly. That he's said somethin
The offending causes have already been changed. Cable internet services were removed from those regulations by the FCC in a clever act of nullification by reclassifying them as an information service instead of a telecommunication service. The problem is that was only lifted in 2005. They've been crippled since 1996 or longer, and some of them still are thanks to state and local regs keeping them nailed down anyway. The infrastructure is already far behind current tech
Since el presidente has posted on the FFH2 forums and shot the shit with the designer, I'd guess he's played it.
I hate it, but then I never lose them in battle... Noob! :)
Claiming it can't be proven is ridiculous, gravity can't be proven either. In the words of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth. Everything else has been proven wrong. Until we come up with something else to eliminate, the free market economy is the only method known to man that might actually work. All others have proven self destructive on a mas
That's a discussion for beta 0 I think. We'll have what they've gotten, and the perfect place to test ideas that get bounced off them.
Trek doesn't need to do anything to get new fans. Trek just needs to not suck ass so much every other iteration... They keep bouncing from cheeseball to serious, it's annoying. DS9 ended up being the best of the shows because it was the only one that stayed half serious, and it wasn't even Trek. As long as they leave the sixties humor in the sixties and stop making odes to the nonsensical episodes lacing TOS, they'll do just fine.
Mentally, the guy that started this thread is...
As long as they leave the design of the equipment adaptation open to be modded, a user can create their own race and modify their own armor and weapons for it themselves. That way, Stardock doesn't need to make a zillion items to cover a bunch of different races, just allow the base to add them in. Other trivialties like ghosts walking through walls and undead not needing food are also easily surmounted. The Infernals in FFH2, a badass Civ4 mod, don't use fo
Will multiplayer that doesn't require an outside server be available? I've never really moved past my fondness for typing in the ip of the host and ignoring any bullshit that arises from a central server glitching the shit out of me. :(
Shh! You'll attract the attention of the socialists!
Clock speed is only comparable under the same architecture. The AMD chipsets were using an architecture similar to what the new Intels have finally moved to for quite a while now. The memory controllers are on die, with a direct link to the memory, as opposed to the P4 method of traversing the north bridge to get to them. They also have dedicated bandwidth, instead of sharing the front side bus with everything else. His quad core 2.2Ghz processor is we
They're unlikely to switch to that pricing plan in areas where competition exists, especially competition on their own network that isn't going to adapt to the new changes. Opec controls 40% of the worlds oil supply, and has the cooperation of Russia most of the time in their supply control efforts. That's half the world supply. US based companies control a few percent all together. If you understand how oil is sold, the conclusion is obvious. <a
In HoMM3, you sorta forgot the armies. Yeah, the magic skills were more involved than the might skills, but the might skills were modifiers of the troops, the might half of the game. The troops themselves were quite interesting. I'd like more variety in a game where the command unit is an actual unit and not just a figurehead, but HoMM3 didn't lack for might, you're simply looking at just one aspect.
Spore was such a gay letdown in the end, I don't know if I want Stardock trying for a Spore style game... It's either beyond current tech, beyond people, or just beyond EA. One out of three is bad odds...
There is no conflict between the announcement of GOO and either of your links there, you are in error.
