Casting inside the zone of the influence is not a bad idea, but it downgrades the need of other channelers in your army. You need to train your caster anyway. So he/she does need to be outside its zone of the influence at least from time to time. If the AI channeller dies, the faction shall not be destroyed, but some successor shall become the king/queen of that faction. Let us say the relative with the highest level (husband/wife, strongest offspring).

There may be a problem where to find the weak enemies, when they are dead already. I think you can produce more experienced units later in the game. However I have played Elemental only once, because after patch 1.05 caused not being able to enter the tactical battle. The setting of the experience is in the same place as how many units you build at once.

I played the campaign yesterday and I had problems with finding quests. When a queen sent me to the southwards to kill some monsters, I would never expected north is down. It is not a suprise. You can rotate the map. However there is no indicator where the north is. There shall be a compass or something like that. Right now one must run around the city and hope that one find the quest location.

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz (4 CPUs) (on WinXP), Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset graphics card, WinXP. The game is fast at the beginning, after a minute or two it is slow as hell (the response time is seconds). I don't know, if this is this issue, but the game is not playable on this machine.

I haven't downloaded the gold version yet, but it happened all the time when I entered the battle while still in beta. I had similar problems with the cloth map, but it was corrected somehow. So I was hoping it will be corrected by now.

Well, localization of the mods is a great idea. However some languages have big problems with fonts, because they have characters, that are not in english. Have you thought about it? Do you check code page of the sources? The common problem is windows-1250 and UTF-8 mishmash.

After this text there are many 0x00 characters in the file.

You have not mentioned this imporant fix in the change log, but you corrected something and so I was able to start the game and do several turns on my NVidia GeForce 7800 GTX card. Tactical combat is still unusable on my computer (I see controls around the screen and white area instead of the map and units (if I click on autoresolve, the combat works and I get the summary dialog)), but it is great achievment in my eyes and I am more than happy you did such tremendous job.

Great work! In Beta 3B I was able to start the game and play several turns. There were some issues still (I saw nothing in tactical combat), but even though it is a great improvement and it seems you are succesfully fighting the NVIDIA GeForce problems.

Great! I would be more than happy, if I am able to pass further than the initial Beta 3 screen to see at least the intro. Every beta I can go less and less further.
