Have you noticed, that the developer journal page does not display videos properly? The links are links, but the video tags are simply printed. If it is a problem of space, I would suggest the video section to be converted into link (or the video is displayed properly as in the forum).

Your problem is not Outlook. You are running out of disk space and your operating system is trying to find some standard solution how to get more (even if it would not work in your case). If you have some videos or unnecessary files on your hard disk, delete them and the dialog will appear no more. You may also uninstall some applications you do not use.

It is a good conclusion. Several versions or shard dependent. It would be however interesting to solve what units shall be teleported (the same for casting strategic spells on your minions). At this point it is random and you usually enchant a wrong unit.

I think 15 is nice for both single- and multiplayer. Just hire some more heroes, that will protect the back of your empire. And I agree, it shall be in the late game. This spell is one from the interesting ones. The magic is pretty crappy (the last upgrade made magic better, but still).

Tested on my WinXP machine and it runs properly. There is DOSbox behind it. It works fine. 4 core processor is good enough to run this game [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]

Agree. And it shall be possible to create stacks from original units. At this point I have a horde of very experienced units, that are useless. Action like this shall cost money and perhaps some resources and the units should be unavailable for some time, however it should be included in the game.

The problem of attacking was explained in a different thread. If each unit in the stack attacks as a single unit a deadlock may happen, when both sides make miss rolls. I like it that way, however the attack and defense value of each stack shal diminish when soldiers fall.

I think this was called communism. I mean the original idea, Soviet Union and such countries never had communism even if they are referred as communist countries. Unfortunately people do not function that way.

I designed an archer unit, that had a healing kit in its equipment (the single unit has 5 more hit points and regenerates after the battle). However, when I select a formation, the price increases (4xsingle soldier price), but the number of hitpoints of the formation is the same as if the soldiers had not had the kit (they should have 20 more HP).

Well, I dislike it either, I fought against a group of 8 soldiers (I have groups of 4). I was able to reduce the number of hitpoints to 1 by spells and than I was screwed. No unit (even strong ones) were able to take it down. I hope it will be fixed sooner or later. When you have a group of four soldiers, it should be possible to take it down by four group of similar soldiers (I mean one quad against four singles).Now when you encounter such groups, your fighter heroes become useless

I realized, that after a battle the channeler receives 50 XP, his summoned pet receives 40 XP and soldiers get 5 XP each. I do not know why those numbers, but this might be OK. Other heroes ususally get 0 XP (at least it is displayed) even after a tough fight. The thing is they level from time to time, so I guess the problem is in the dialog after the battle.

I think they had contracts they had to fulfill. Never mind! What is done is done. Version 1.07 is stable enough for me and it is great game already. Let us focus forward and let us stop crying! Two weeks to fix the worst was great job and I am looking forward next gameplay changes.

This problem was in Master of Orion too. There when you conquered the capitol the game was practicaly won, because the opponent was not able to cast spells (except few heroes). In Elemental is the problem is even worse. The strategy "ignore anything but the city nearest to the enemy channeler. Conquer it and then finish the stack with the channeler" is sort of cheating against AI. If you do this in one turn (as I did in my last game), the game is over for your enemy, even if he was considered

Agreed. The faction should be dead, when all its heirs are dead (including not yet mature children). However I think the fact that if your sovereign is dead game is over for you is good, because you are considered the channeler and so it is logical the game ends. BTW: I just played a small game with four opponents. I was confused by who is who. There were two defeated empires. I killed the last one, but I was looking for the reason why these empires are not on the diplo
