Yep. Time is an attribute of the universe, and as such does not exist before the universe.

And don't forget poptarts! We will always have a ready supply of them.
I got Clear Sky free with my CPU... I personally don't like it. It seems to run like crap, looks like crap (especially for the performance I was getting), and you are often left very confused as to what you are supposed to do. However, the latter problem could stem from the lack of me playing the original.
Ya, same here... The only teacher I purposefully annoyed was my French 2 teacher. She was retiring at the end of the year, and so she had already pretty much made up her mind that she was done teaching sometime around october. And when a teacher doesn't even bother trying to teach you something... well that's the sort of teacher that deserves to be given a hard time.
With the Fallen (and possibly the humans) I would find it interesting if the game portrayed the crazy, lawless orgies which often took place after a town was taken IRL. After all, when a city is captured, especially if it is a different faction (fallen vs human) all the citizens do not magically convert to being nationalistic, patriotic citizens of the nation they are now a part of. Dunno how it would be done in game... But it could be interesting.
Adaptation is not evolution. Bacteria can adapt to its environment, but it can never evolve into another specie. One specie evolving into another has never been observed nor reproduced. Prove me wrong if you can.
I cannot. That is why we have science, and those who study it. They can. A quick google search will find you some. Lets see here... The first result to come up for evolution was t

We used a piece of colored chalk in the blackboard tray. If he was on the door-side of that chalk piece, we looked down or otherwise broke eye contact. Within a few days, we had "trained" the teacher to stay on the window-side of that chalk! The next Mo

Bake the teacher a mud pie, offer it to him/her and get offended when they refuse to eat a peice. Bring in a few cans of Pringles to every class, and whenever the teacher talks loudly crunch them in your mouth. Bring a bag of powdered sugar and a straw, make lines of powdered sugar on the desk and suck it up through the straw. If asked what you are doing, tell them you are protesting the school's drug policy. Hide someone in a closet and tell the teacher you need
It would SUCK to find out 10hrs into gameplay that you are not going to survive the game because the variables are so overwhelmingly against you the game is in fact impossible. So I assume there would have to be a 'weight' system to these so that +/- can be relatively balanced. Not neccesarily. In fact, a game called 'Dwarf Fortress' actually has a moto of "Losing is fun!" http://dwarffortresswiki.
What we should do: Leave them alone. Star Trek's Federation had orders not to interfere with newly discovered humans... And for a good reason. It will likely end up toppling their society or some other major ecological or societal disaster if we interfere. This of course assumes they are less technologically advanced. However, being the nutty screwups that we are, here is what we will do: Exploit them for profit. The first intelligent species we encounter had better be more advanced t

In the lights of the events of Battlestar Galactica's finale the thought springs to mind that he was a cylon. Disclaimer: No offence to religious people intended (just in case). About physics engine: Until I am able to build a trebuchet which works solely based on physics, I remain unconvinced. But ya, I look forward to buying the game. I actually haven't played Starcraft before though...

I'm waiting for Infinity myself. It even has realistically sized planets and other bodies!
Mine run smoothly and very nicely, no crashes. However, I have not ventured into multi quite yet, and have been playing solo only.
There are multiple ways of measuring size and distance. I think three are commonly used. In order of increasing distance: 1. 2 points far away (on opposite sides of earth) measure the angle 2. Can't quite remember this one unfortunately... 3. Redshift from the universe's expansion
Banned for not telling me we were at 1000th ban. Now I have to settle for ban #1006...
It seems to be working ever since Edit 3... Not sure if its just magic or if it had to do with me telling BIOS to 'Load Optimized Defaults.' I use the K9A2 Platinum mobo previous RAM current RAM
How did he get that 72% figure? My guess is it is based on a poll which asks if you have ever been called 'gay' in multiplayer chat. 72% or higher would be an accurate figure for that.
Took out the 2x1gb, and after double reboot no more CMOS and the graphics card registers again! I think 4 gb of RAM should be sufficient for now, so I will stick with that. Edit: Or not. It seems to do it whenever it cold boots. A reboot after it was already on seems to be what causes it to work properly. I just turned on the fast boot option, which if I am lucky will mean it goes through the warm boot process even when it is cold booting... Will post in a few mins when I cold
Well, I upgraded my 2 GB of RAM to 6 by adding 2x2gb more. The RAM registers and works nicely, however now my GPU seems to have dropped off the map. On startup, I get a message saying 'CMOS checksum bad' but it does let me boot it and it runs fine except for the GPU. The GPU does not show up anywhere, either in Device Manager or in tests (such as vista's built in one). I tried updating the driver, but that is not it since it could not find the hardware to update the driver. Anyo
Banned for making me edit my post by posting just before me.
*gasp* 6 pages of talk about god/s and it hasn't even devolved into a flame war yet! I must say, I'm impressed.
Yay for free market economy!
