Here is how it would work: the main algorithm is just the mechanism through which it would act. It is essentially just the evolutionary mechanism. It would do the following: find a fitness 'score' for the radiers' programming, use that score to pick out the best programs, recombine those programs, add random mutations to some of the programs, distribute and collect data on the programs' performance. It would do these in essentially that order. Now, the programs the r
But without resurrecting the raiders it can't get progressively better since any and all progress would be lost when the raider is destroyed. Each individual raider gets better the longer it remains alive (see aforementioned Scar), but without raider resurrection all they have is the base algorithm for every new raider that goes off the assembly line
Which is why you dont distribute it to the raiders. The raiders

Just put in a genetic algorithm, and sit back and watch as your system constantly improves itself! The first few (or hundred) times it will fail in an epic way, but after than it will get

You posted in one of the off topic forums, which is shared throughout all Stardock forums. So there are more than 5 game forums over which this post is shown. For topics about a specific game, it is best to use the game's forums. I would suggest the tech section for your question.

Just find a cracked key online. You own it, and it is not your fault their DRM won't let you play the game you bought. After all, what better way to get around the annoying copy protection than by using someone else's key?

It actually is no different than running it off a hard drive. Yes it is possible, and quite simple. Just copy your sins files onto the flash drive. However, you may want to turn the settings down, since the computer you may plug into likely will not have a decent video card, if it has anything more than onboard video at all. This is why older games with tiny graphics requirements are often used (such as Warcraft or WoW)

Don't worry about their navy. All you need to do is ferry your troops across the channel before you declare war. The same turn you declare, drop em all off on the shore. Nothin their navy can do about it.

Another thing to look for (from what I have heard): colleges with coop programs. RIT (where I plan on going as long as I get some decent scholarships) in New York has a mandatory coop program for 1 semester to get a 4 year degree. Their coop is paid, and according to their website, quite well (about 44k a year, although you are only there for a semester so probably around 16-18k).

video game development only takes place in larger cities. Not really. Many of the larger companies are in big cities, but game development can take place anywhere there is an open basement or garage available. It all depends on what type of game dev you want to be. If you want to work on the great big titles, you will want to work on the east or (more likely) west

Yep, 64 bit = maps so big your hard drive will turn to dust before your army could cross the map. Assuming of course you have the 16 exobytes or so of RAM which is 64's limit...

Just get a flash drive and install it on there. You should be able to run it off a flash drive just like any other program, and the best part is it can be then used on any computer you go to.
