Slightly OT but I find the beginning quests don't really fit with the "postapocalyptic fantasy" theme. It's supposed to be a shattered wasteland but for some reason there are taverns and rich estate owners that need escorts? I think quests need a revamp.

So does this mean "Essence" for he everyone other than the Sov will just be "yes" or "no"? Or will champions have a certain amount that they can channel from the global pool (that they can raise on level-up)?

Personally I like it. What about other types of markets that would convert other resources? E.g.: Magical Bazaar, converts crystals. Goods market, converts mat (and/or iron??). Or: Markets that can switch to different goods?

I just updated to 1.08 and it seems now my Sov's spells always miss...? He has Int 18, shouldn't be missing every spider with LS, should he? going to start a new game & see if this is also the case UPDATE well I restarted and it seems to be working.

I'm still figuring tactics out in this game, but so far the most useless spell I've run across seems to be "Hurricane" (Air school/Tactical). All it does is t-port a unit to a random square on the map. So, for example, you can get your forces all lined up for battle, then cast hurricane and have a bad guy t-port to behind your lines. Has anyone found a good way of using this spell? (Also, it's kind of annoying that the first Air Elemental has Hurricane as its only

This is probably the minorest thing in the world but I would love it if you could adjust campaign and tactical music separately. I like the campaign music, but I'm getting really, really bored of the 1 tactical song that plays over and over and over.

It's also annoying that this useless spell is the Air Elemental's special ability. Titan's Breath, which actually is quite useful (particularly if you have archers) should be there instead.

they needed the ability for sovereigns to quickly bring the small scouting group home in emergencies Wonder if they could make a spell that does just that, returns you and your army to your capitol. Teleport Friends would then enable teleporting to any friendly territory.

Get rid of 1dn, replace it with separate "to hit" and "damage" rolls. Heavier armored troops should be slower (movement wise) but obviously have a higher DEF. Heavier weapons should be slower (action point wise) but do more damage. Positional bonuses (flanking). Make bowmen, infantry and cavalry more distinctive.
