I've had the AI attack, and defeat me, however I was able to take out all five of his units with just my Soverign. I played this several times trying to reproduce a CTD and almost every time my Sovereign kill most if not all of their units. Later, LAR
I prefer discovering and testing new strategies and approaches in a game rather than discovering what techs or units or buildings actually do. When I played Civ4 for the first time (several years after playing my last Civ game which was Civ1) just looking at the tech tree was enough to decide what to research, in EoW I need to play several games to make informed decisions. Without the meta info its just guessing. So I believe that the prerequisites
I think the problem we're seeing is that technology works for immersion but fails as a gameplay mechanic. We've already seen plenty of people say that they're keeping track of what technology leads to what outside of the game. That, to me, says that there's a need the game isn't providing. Like how MMOs without an economy have a barter economy that eventually show up, I get the feeling if the game leaves technology progression undefined, players are just go
Ok, nevermind then. =) Later, LAR
Disreguard, I'm pretty sure this is just not complete Steps to reproduce: Run Elemental Load game or start a new game Go to options menu and press "Main Menu" button. Press "Multiplayer" button You leave your current game without a warning message. Any unsaved progress is lost. Later, LAR
I've had a need to reload to test various scenarios and currently in order to reload you basically need to exit the game and reload or enter the multiplayer setup screen. There's no option in either the options menu or on the in-game main menu for reloading a game. Even if it's just for beta, it'd be useful to enable reload while in a game. Later, LAR
For #2, you'll eventually be able to create any type of unit you want. So it's kind of a moot point. I'd also expect #1 and #4 to already be planned as it's how other Stardock games have worked. Later, LAR
I like it too, it'd look a lot better than the mass of disjointed building that are there now. Later, LAR
There is a bad texture on one of the landscape tile (see below), which is visible at the resolution 1680x1050.
If you said windows was at fault here I'd believe you, but in Windows 7 you can have multiple library locations for your My Documents folder. I have one on the local drive and one on a networked file server. The file server is set to be the default save location, which is where I'd expect Elemental to save it's data, however it saved it's data in my local My Documents folder. Later, LAR
Are you guys afraid you will spoil the game by playing it in its early iterations as it is and knowing the inner workings? I'm so torn to help out but dont want to spoil the game.
If it helps, the campaign won't ever appear in the public beta. Later, LAR
The description for the Earth Shrine says "proivde" instead of "provide". Later, LAR
Quite literally the first thing I did after entering the game was hit an arrow key to move the map. But instead of moving the map my soverign moved and attacked either a hero or a bandit that was standing nearby. At the very least the arrow keys need to be capable of being remapped. Later, LAR
As a suggestion for podcast people, you don't have to actually get on a podcast to get points for it I don't know if any of you guys are very into gaming podcasts but pretty much all of them generally have a letters section or some way for listeners to contribute to the discussion. I would not want someone to just spam all of them with things about Elemental, however, if you are a fan of one you could email in asking them to t
I don't have time to search on if this has been reported already, but I thought I'd let people know you'll get a confirmation email when Stardock charges you. Later, LAR

Oh damn, that's tiny.
Any word on its size? I'd just like to know if I should kick it off when I get home or can wait. Later, LAR
The deal with wishlists is that (at least some of the larger) sites use the number of people who've added a game as a major factor in determining article placement, etc. The more people wishlist it, the more likely others will have a chance to see previews and such on that site.
Ya see, now that makes sense. Now I don't feel so bad about adding it to wishlists willy nilly. Later, LAR

You cheating, cheater cheat! I am surprised you don't have any quests worth over 100 points though. I kinda thought it was gonna be harder without some larger point items in there. That being said, it's still a long time till August 24. =P Later, LAR
