Awesome another one of 2k generic fps!!! So what that will be what £40 for 8 hours of playtime, with absolutly no challenge from start to finish? Well except getting the bugger to work! Bioshock was an awful fps, the only thing redeming about it was the story which although good didn't warrant anothere playthrough. I remember being promised a "spirital successor" to System shock [e digicons]:'([/e] . But how ca

Same here, I found that all the goodies are invisible until you click on them after which they are perfectly visable, and seem to remain so. Just click randomly infront of your scout and you'll see what he's about to pick up.
Doh I mean 0.29, forum is moving like treakle today.
Hi, This is a little bug I found but if you start the game and then exit it before starting a game it gives you the "are you sure...unsaved data could be lost" warning. Which isn't apporate because I haven't started the game or done anything (yet). But to replicate: 1.Start the game 2.When at main menu close the game done by clicking on exit. Is this a bug? Cheers, Mat
Hey. that sort of looks like mine, Except mine has berries (of some sort) on the other side of the mountain/ [e digicons][/e]

Hi, I'm not sure I understand. You want to have a poor nation, with ill-equiped soilders yet have giant towers of stone and idols of gold? Sorry but this idea would not seperate the ecconomies (IMHO) because the mundane eccomy would still be king. Only by having a strong mundane ecconomy are you able to aquire the resources for the the magical ecconomy. Ie Your still going to have to feild soilders, boats and the like to control these resources. Nothing has chan
This should be sticked!
So effectively there are more than two races but only 2 species?
Nice looking doggie that! [e digicons]:fox:[/e] Are there still plans for a 64 bit version?
Whats with the necromancy?
"3. Dangerous barbs So far in Elemental the barbarians/animals are more nuisance than challenge. In FfH it is quite possible to lose early on to encroaching barbs. It certainly makes the game opening more fun as opposed to the bog standard first so and so moves." This is my biggest hope for elemental. There was nothing more I enjoyed in FFH2 than playing a marathon game with raging barbs. Of course this was slighty unbalanced for
Screw Hearts of Iron 3, Its Hearts of iron 2 thats awesome! But as for elemental I think the est soltion would be a point based limit, the point limit being based on the leader skills. Why? Because as Tasunke says otherwise you tip the balance infavour of
Edit: forum burp
What no mention of Hearts of Iron 2: Armagedon*? That game really is awesome, well as long as you mod the AI. (Thank you DAIM) I can't count the number of hours I've poured into that game. *The latest expansion pack
Hi, According to the interface building a tax office has no affect on the amount of gold generated by a citizen. Despite the fact that the amount of Gold you generate per day has increased. Citizens produce 0.1 gold per day the same as they did prior to the building of the tax office, yet the amount of gold per day has increased. I'm not sure if this is a bug as I don't know how the tax office affects gold per turn, but its card states it increase
Hi, I checked through the front page and couldn't find anybody flagging this up but. If you build a watchtower, you get a large section of the fog of war revealed and it doesn't refog. HOWEVER if you build a new improvement on a tile adjacent to it then the fog returns. I've managed to get this done 3 times. Is this a bug or intended? Cheers, Mat
They are. And dwarves are humans who can't grow proper like. And giants grow to much, And lizardmen are just men with scales. I'm sorry I've never seen differnt races in other games as unique. Usually it just means a new skin and maybe one or two unique units.* *except perhaps MoM but even then there were only 3-4 unquie races and the rest were very similar to each other with minor changes.
I was intending to get this from the bargin bin anyway. £35!?! for a game I'd play though once maybe twice! So with this all I can say is, I'l probablyl be getting it earlier than I though, as this will "most probably" be filling those bins quicker than i thought.* I found the last modern warfare a good single player game but I found the multiplayer meh. And by having peer to peer will probably be the death blow for this game, imagine a game of 20 ppl. LOL and dem
So wait you want to remove creating units and replace it with creating armies? So instead of having an army of say 12 units (7 footmen and 5 knigths) you'd rather just have 1 unit called "101 army". How would you deal with tactical battles like that? Afterall an army is the sum of its parts not just a group of peasents given weapons. So in the first model I'd have 7 block units for holding units and 5 flanking units. Where as you'd have one large random mob? Armi
Perhaps you should look at this thread
Boogie Bac stated somewhere else that one of the main reason their weren't going to be multiple races (other than lore) was that for each race they'd have to generate or alter there exisiting 3d assest, ie weapons and armour, to fit said bodies And to be honest if dropping multiple races means those existing will be done to a higher standard then i'm all for it. After all there are still 12 faction each with a unique tech tree and whatever other bonuses that they give each. That
I'm not 100% certain about this, but Stardock usually only allows their products to be pre-ordered through their digital distrabution system -Impulse. Also if I were you I'd wait until the next beta opens, as the current one is closed so preordering now will not get you into this beta, but will get you into the next. Not sure when the beta opens again though.
Hi, Don't know if you've read this post but: https://forums.elementalgame.com/352821/page/22/#replies I can't find exactly which ecconomic model they've choosen but i think your model will be a little limited, when you consider that they want 10-15 + different resources. Managing them each with production points from each resource might get a bit frustrating. <
FFH2 had a rather eligant teleport system- well a renamed "air drop system". But what you did was you allowed only a single soilder to be moved between a single city. For example I can teleport my ogre from Avaton to kinator, but now I can't telleport my uber hero from Avaton to Shamila. This gave a useful troop movement system, but one which couldn't be used to make my cities "untakable". Anyway I'm sure there are other really clever ways of limiting it, perhap
