I love spiders. And ants. Really, I just love insects. I could have been an entomologist. Yes, I know spiders aren't actually insects... [e digicons]:S[/e] Still, a good implementation of insect like monsters would make me happy. More broadly, a monster ecology would be interesting, although I don't expect it.

That's because it's the woman who did the Gal Civ introduction. I believe they released that trailer a while ago. I remember seeing it before, that's for sure.
I can't imagine how you'd run out of things to play... Action, RPG, Tactical RPG/Strategy, RTS, and Turn-Based Strategy pretty much describes everything. I guess try something free, like Battle for Wesnoth. You might consider switching mediums. Board games? PnP roleplaying? Card games? All these things are fun to do.
You know? I can actually respect this. If I could have I would have shredded a certain somebody's WoW account, RPG forum logins, and if I could have destroyed every popular epic fantasy series so that she couldn't read them I would have. Wow... I'm even worse than the woman in the OP... [e digicons]8|[/e]
Someone really ought to make a sequel to Planescape Torment. Or a mod. [e digicons]*_*[/e] I had contributed to the Modern Planescape project. I really enjoyed writing for that before I realized that I really wanted to break out, write my own lore selfishly about my own worlds.
If you're impatient, you can currently go into the files and edit the textures yourself.
Open Source is overrated- there's a reason most open source games never go anywhere.
That's not fair. Open source has resulted in some awesome things. It just needs dedication and hard work on the part of those in the project.

I'd pretty much guarantee the economy is going to change more. I don't think we've seen the economy in its final stage yet. Not by a long shot.
In science fiction I always enjoyed alien races with interesting sociological and ecological characteristics. I enjoyed C J Cherryh's for this reason. In fantasy I don't think this is nearly as important, which is why I find it so difficult most of the time to really care about fantasy races. There is a glaring exception: Ian Irvine's "The View from the Mirror" series, which is AWESOME. By far my favorite fantasy series... I really ought to finish it some day... In "The View
This reminds me a little bit of the labour allocation pool in Deadlock. I'm a fan of Deadlock, although I don't know if I'm a fan of allocating labour in that way. It gets a little micromanagementy. You'd need a good "governor" system to make such an economy manageable. I guess the problem now is, theoretically, you could have a city full of production but no housing, and I don't know if population does anything except get your city to the next level. I will experiment with that strat
I have looked at several other tablets and so far, only the iPad looks to be a sure thing for the long haul.
Are you sure about that? Apple is sort of notorious for planned obsolescence. And in less than a year there will be something "better" than than iPad from Apple. I'd put money down on that. Once Sony releases an OLED tablet PC... now that would be revolutionary.
How does the video demonstrate anything? It's a comedy video.
Yea ... playing as a Lone-Wolf Dragon would definitely be Ideal Mod territory (or even minigame? like playing *Barbarians* in Civ4)
I always thought that playing a dragon and competing to intimidate towns to give you cattle and gold would make an interesting strategy game.
You know, prestige seems like a weird mechanic to determine population growth. I understand the quality of palaces attracting adventurers and dragons, but I would have thought that survivors of the apocalypse would be more concerned with pragmatic matters like food, water, shelter and security. I'm just saying: when you've got palaces as a way to improve population growth in the early game, it doesn't make all that much sense... especially in a post apocalyptic setti
i literally got around 80 thousand spare Euros for buying games
Good God! What are you? The son of a Russian oligarch? Or a Greek tycoon? Do you have to spend that much money buying games? Is this some sort of "Brewster's Millions" scenario where if you manage to spend 80,000 by the end of the month buying video games you get 160,000? If so, have you considered using it as seed money to start your own studio? If you don't have to spend
Well, I just finished my first complete game in Beta 1Z. This time, I gave myself only one opponent and things worked fine. A quest area spawned on a island so you might want to check that out. Still, I have a feeling a lot of stability issues could be fixed by going through the issues with pathing through cities. Right now entering and leaving cities is bizarre and hasn't really been fixed in any of the updates. It's like the computer isn't really sure what tile is occupied by city a

I've begun to model some of the buildings. There's nothing I want to show off yet. Mostly I've picked buildings because they're very simple to model, compared to guns, which I can't even draw for some reason. I can pretty much draw anything except for a gun. Weird. Anyways, this is a list of buildings I need to make models for, as well as their state of completion. These are only the buildings I definitely need , more are certainly necessary but I can't waste my time making Re
