Well, yes. I'm sure they can dig up the bits of code in the early revision, but that's useless if it's not present in the current compiled code since nobody will be able to do anything anything with it :P What RavenX was asking is if the code exists to be turned on so the modders could play with it. But modders can't really recompile the source code using whatever old stuff they've got, so..

AFAIK there's supposed to be a Necromancy spellbook, but SD has never posted any spells from it and it hasn't been in the beta.

All of those books are in the game. You can only get the "basic" books at start and available to pick from when customizing your sovereign (like Fire), and the rest you can discover in-game.

I wouldn't expect any of the old code base to stick around.

I actually was sad to see 8 attack, 2 defense on the unit stat. Armor is so much more expensive than weapons, but vastly underpowered compared to them. Combat is still going to end up in one-hit-kills unit trades with stats like these :P

The problem is you can't develop a different game for each "option". You do one, or the other. Not both.

It doesn't have a "name". Everyone just calls it Empire Tree because that's what it was called in Sins.

Yeah, I should've made it clearer that since it's not officially supported, it's "buy at own risk" even if the demo works. If they don't support it that means they don't test anything for XP 64, leaving the potential that it'll break later at some point.

I think what kryo means to say is, you'd better wait for the demo before you buy.

I've always been a completionist, in any game I always try to do everything reasonable. Though, I have my limits - I never bothered to find all the damn feathers in Assassin's Creed 2, for example. I have limited play time as it is with work and RL, and given that moving up in leagues is based on earning points, splitting time even more between wanting to play MP and wanting to get more Custom achievements is counterproductive to moving u

They're shipped with USPS Priority Mail, so it should be a few days within the US. As for when they're shipping, they said they *might* ship boxes early, but there wouldn't be a guarantee that you'd get it on the 24th. Don't think they said anything that's set in stone about when they're shipping the boxes.

I'm playing :P Still haven't gotten around to placing in a league though, wanted to do a bunch of achievements so then I could focus on MP. 2640 achievements points atm >.> And yeah, I usually load up Trump's stream as well when I get home from work.. half the reason I haven't done placements yet though is because Terran is my race since beta/SC1, but it's so Flavor of the Month. Most of Trump's matches are TvT :x
