The only things you do with money is buy items that are available in game anyway, or buy currency through their legitimate system. It's a shortcut but it's not unbalancing in the endgame. You can also use money to change the looks of your items and fully customize your character. Got a weapon that is amazing but looks like a to

Or would any of you feel better if Frogboy hadn't hired Kael? (I won't mention Shafer in that question due to anti Civ V zealots :P ) Or if he hadn't already funded Elemental for 2011 and 2012? Or deployed a full team for Elemental? Results are what in the end we pay for (er.. you know what

They are taking gaming business more seriously and even hiring people like Mr Paxton and Mr Shafer to help with Elemental and beyond. Mistakes may be made but I would say that at least the intentions are not to repeat EWoM's events.

Easier <> Easy but I can concede that, in theory (due to "plane" maps and no magic), Galc Civ 3 should be easier than Elemental (especially due to Elemental experience). But that doesn't mean that Starcock cannot "screw it", right? People will start reminding them of how Tactical Battles were considered for GC 3, how even Frogboy once said he would like to have some kind of Hero unit (yep) or the usual "Multiplayah!!!". Stardock could make FE to be trash and still make

How curious how some people deny Stardock any possibility of making Elemental interesting and good (in TBS and/or RPG shape) yet believe that Stardock will automatically make a good next iteration of Gal Civ. Certainly some people believe in magic. Aeon, you are wrong about the puzzling.

Your.... wording about Elemental expansion packs is about to make some people explode (again). Just saying. Elemental: RPG. Now. Please? Who must I kill? Which country must I conquer? Knowing about it has been the best news I have had in the last weeks! (weeks in which the best thing has been to learn some Python 3.1.3 during breaks in the office so go figure) The Mod Layer sounds very interesting too. :)

I don't know. It could reduce "queieng" in the cities but not much more, imho.
