In the Media section there are three new screenshots (new as in "new there" because they have been shown already here) and three new wallpapers (a couple of them quite drool worthy). Just saying for those that don't check often.

Off topic, check the Lore section (Kingdoms/Empires/Beasts) of the web for IE. It has been broken for a while. And it's a pity because it's quite neat the effort put into it.

[quote who="Bodyless" reply="24" id="2568308"] How is taking the most powerful unit of an empire out of the game NOT a weakening of said empire? Imagine if it was leading your army to an attack of an enemy army...your sov suddenly gets teleported to a city and your army wiped out. The difficulaty is set by placing different enemy empires in the world. Difficulty by numbers is only used when you give the AIs certain bonuses. And while this is not desirable, there will certainly

I still hope for cities only being taken when the city centre is conquered, making city development/tetris an important part of it's design. In any case, I don't find it boring. It's just some extra clicks. I'd agree with prestige buildings being a bit "meh" though.
(using IE 8) the Gorgon, reply #27: https://forums.elementalgame.com/378327/page/2 Why does people insist using other than Notepad(++) to write their stuff before posting? Or why does Microsoft use such bad code in their stuff? Edit: taking a look into the source code, seems that reply #28 also has "sutff".
Would you ask a Mac focused developer to make the jump to Windows?
Damn, I'm out of place here with those requirements. Too much DMing and not so many opportunities of regular play. From a biological point of view, diversity is good (survival, adaptation, improvement...). I hope that Impulse::Reactor gets the attention it deserves. Especially kick the ass of Steamworks. Nothing like to have a preorder cancelled (not by my choice) in Impulse because some publisher decided in the "last minute" that they were to use Steamworks. Did I say that I fear for Alpha Protocol? You may want to say "take some choices away from the player in very concrete circumstances". :P And difficulty based on just "buffing numbers" is dumb difficulty (sometimes needed). Difficulty on adding extra game mechanics that add to the decission/choices pool on the other hand...
