Why should the Sovereign be allowed to repeat a failed quest by a hero? Heroes are there to do quests too. And sometimes fail doing them, as can happen to the Sovereign. I don't see it as a bug.
Players like you with micromanagement brains, what I hate the most. If I wanted to play Fantasy Sim City I'd look for a product with that title. If they want to sell large quantities of this product they'll need to make it simple so the brainless 12 year olds will buy it. Too much micromanagement in a TURN BASED GAME won't sell to the masses of children who have access to their mommies and daddies hearts and pocket books. Adding microman
Hm...I don't really understand this. What do you expected? You can design your units via equipping them with whatever you want. You wanted to give them more arms and legs...or what?
In unit creation I don't think so but in faction/race creation would be awesome. XD

About the yellow icons, I suppose that the quests appear in a "short" range of where you are. But in any case you are right about the need of a pointer to it. Women models... Well, currently female Sovereigns are "underpowered" because Starock is focusing first in the male model. Once they have finished, the female model will get their attention. For female soliders there is nothing yet because they depend of a trait that currently doesn't work and that only some will pick. So r

If you make the unit enter the city and once inside, select it and right click where you want it to exit to, that should (in theory) do the trick. I regret blocking many mountains passes with my cities and then have to move a large army through them...

You must buy Spells from the Study screen (the one with the book anyway). To get those Spell Points recruit heroes with robes (that appear to be "wizards") and you can also pick an advantage so your Sovereign generates Spell points too. Researching some Magic tech and then building the proper magic research buildings is the standard way though. When you get enough points for the spell you want, you buy it. The targets of quests are marked as yellow icons. Except when it's "Go to your

2010/12/07 Kind of information that will go here. Updated whenever there is something worthy of update. It might end with downloable files if some lists get too long. That or extra posts to continue this Sovereign's Guide. Unless stated otherwise, it's a work in progress so don't get too attached to anything yet!!! Currently I have taken out the information that was here and temporarily reduced the Index. I plan to update this with some solid information a

Dying Sun "Dying Sun" is a modification for the game "Elemental: War of Magic" developed and published by Stardock. In Dying Sun, different factions have managed to survive to the destruction caused by the severe and sudden drop of temperatures everywhere after the

Anything beyond art appreciation from images already known and that they are uber powerful beings (strongest thing out there until the Sovereign reaches top levels) that no one will be able to produce but only recruit (and that if in your game you recruit ONE it'll be like the second coming of Elvis), is pure speculation and/or wishful thinking. Canon wise at least. <img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Utaku_Areka/superfu.pn

Nothing serious and probably known but just in case: Our Sovereign can find equipment during his/her quests and, hopefully, equip it. But the figurine doesn't update, so if you equip a different weapon or armour, the figurine won't reflect the change. Before equipping some greaves: We equip them: <img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Utaku_Areka/Eleme

Not sure if it's the same but sounds similar. I had an army with my Sovereign that included a Party of Blitzers (4 members, as Party options says) against a Troll. Battle was won apparently without casualties in my army. BUt after the battle I noticed that the Partyy said 3 instead of 4. I supposed that I had lost 1 men in the party. But some turns later I discovered that all my new parties were all of 3 men. Why? <img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Utaku_

I tried that several times but didn't work. So I took the Knight to conquer some cities and random skirmishes (he survived all of them, thanks to the whole army and Sovereign with him) while the Damsel stayed at home writing Magic Fiction.

I find many "high level" buildings to be not so worthy as they are. I suppose placeholders.

In the last game I have researched Advanced Recruiting a few times and certainly it does not help with the recruting of those pesky groups. Next SOvereign will start with Charisma 20 because no way I can raise from 15 to 20 with just a few level ups of the current one. ¬.¬ About Dungeons, I have not seen any, as nothing about Taming either.
