[quote who="caross73" reply="52" id="2645233"]Destiny is also an invented construct. Unless the future is real in some sort of physical way other than unrealized potential collapsing of probabilities, destiny doesn't exist any more than purpose does. To put it another way, plenty of other species have gone extinct. Just because we haven't yet and can actually think about it, try to infer some greater meaning into it, doesn't mean we are marked for specialness or t

[quote quoting="post"]*ducks from flying objects* But, seriously...steam (as per Stardock CEO) has 70% of the digital distribution market. That's a lot of players. There is also a LOT of steam-only people out there. So by not publishing, even to a rival, means potential loss of a lot of players. I'll even volunteer to run the Elemental official group and assist moderate the forums. I just would like as many people as possible for multiplayer games.<br /

If people gets segregated because of colour of skin, weight, ideology or even country, I don't want to imagine what neanderthal would get (if they were to go ever above the "lab rat" stage).
It'd serve no real purpose except doing it for the sake of curiosity (and the Juras... Neanderthal Park). And he/she/they would be Neanderthal only in genetic code (unless there is actually genetic memory and we can trigger it).
I do remember that scenario from All The Flesh Must Be Eaten where dead bodies were infestated (or altered) by mutant plants (due to some short of human chemical) and raised as zombies.
