But it simply won't be a new version of MoM but something completely different.
Which is good because anyone with some skill should be able to mod MoM in Elemental (Mirror would be tricky and not for noobs?) while I doubt that anyone with some skill could mod what Elemental offers now into e MoM-ish Elemental "Clone".
In Beta 2 and Beta 2-A, we disabled the Adventure, Diplomacy, and Magic technology trees and enabled Civilization and Warfare. In Beta 2-B, we are disabling Civilization and Warfare and enabling Adventure and magic. But wait! How will wars be conducted? It is just going to be a mob of NPC recruits? How do we get food? How do we design better units? How do we better equip our sovereign and our champions? The answer: Magic and Adventuring.&
Ignore the lore - its just their attempt to make a few quick bucks on the side by doing what halo and warhammer have. I personally wish there was no "backstory", considering how this is supposed to be a sandbox empire builder... but I guess all companies have thier price. Still have to sigh when I see certain descriptions delayed in the beta because "they are waiting for random house to send them over". Not a good sign.
The Altarian Sovereign doesn't have that weaknesses... Unless there is also a base % of that happeninig naturally. But I don't know/remember if that works like that.
I was in war against Altar when I killed his Sovereign in the frontier between one of my cities and one of his. Next turn I won a victory conquest even if he still had a city and, supposedly, had to gone back to his city instead of getting permakilled (maybe he didn't have essence?). Savegame
I had hired the wonderful Isiniaruur under my service when some turns later I cross my path with a clone of his! He was identical to the one that served me so I decided to hire him too. Not sure if it's really a bug but doesn't seem correct to have clones of Champions running loose. Champiclone savegame
Playing as Tarth, I conquered one of the Altarian cities that had the Altarian Queen as one of the defenders. The next turn I found that the Queen was now one of my Champions. Savegame
I had a couple of times or so that a whole big tile of the map under my control went suddenly black in the cloth map and under fog of war in the 3D map. It dissapeared some turns later and not sure of why it happened. <img src="http://i2.photobucket

I blame elves and their habit of making weapons and armours out of flower power.
He has never said that he is against it (as far as I know). But surely isn't a priority. https://forums.elementalgame.com/381530/page/2/#2611045 And maybe he said something more in the thread I made about Hotseat long time ago but too lazy to search it. XD
Not for release. After release? Frogboy may need some convincing.
Fixed a couple of broken lists (probably main responsible of IE 7 errors), deleted some images (some stuff had something to do too) and updated some content (added The Shop too, which I forgot to mention last time... yeah, shame on me; next: dungeons). Seems fine in IE 7, Firefox, Chrome, Safari... haven't tried IE 8 so maybe it's totally broken there. XD (will check it at home) If someone seems something broken, a section missing, aliens... let me know, thanks. :)
But as a PC software developer, it definitely makes me nervous about my chosen platform’s long term market size.
Steam here... Apple there... Google everywhere... As long as you plan ahead and adapt, you should be fine. So... Stardock OS* when? * iDock?
RPG, in the most basic D&D-ish and dry sense, is about doing stuff that gives you experience and eventually allows you to level up. In this level up moment the character improves in certain areas automatically while at the same time has the chance to improve others of his choice. Sovereigns, their children and Champions should in theory all use the same system (Sovereigns getting some extras due to being Sovereigns). The most basic element would be the class. Not that classes are
Quoting OsirisDawn, reply 3 To be honest i dont like the city building in the latest build. Before you could specialize cities and you really needed those gardens and houses. I liked it, because you need to make a decission. Like I've said, this is my problem as well with the newest build. So yeah, I absolutely agree with you.
To limit the spam of gardens is good to reinfo
Ok, here in the office where I have all my "combat stuff" I can say that it seems to be a matter of IE 7 (IE 8 with IE 7 compatibility too?). Safari 4 ok Firefox 2 ok Firefox 3.59 ok Opera 9.63 ok Chrome ok IE 8 (mine at home) ok IE 7 (office) fail IE 6... to hell with IE 6!! I never user the compatibilty thingy in IE 8 but it'd not be the first time it causes trouble to users. I'll check
They are a good option in a map that totally lacks Iron mines, as you can buy them weapons in the shop. Level ups are dry and costs are a mystery. Need more varied skills.
In which part, Raven? More precisely, with which browser and screen resolution? IE 8 and Chrome seem fine to me from 800x600 to 1280x1024.
Not bug but not implemented yet. Much like the female Sovereign creation screen.
Heroes that are beyond your Adventuring tech level (or Recruit tech level?) are supposed to be more expensive. As get don't have that research tree enabled, makes sense those galactic prices.

Prestige would be the factor that determines if, having enough space in the city, you get population. You pay the food once for the housing but you can keep draining population from the city and recover it for free as long as Prestige remains positive (not sure if it can go ne
Back in business... more or less. Partial update just because. :P Needs more beta info and when Fallen are available it'll need some retcons. "How to do..." pending (need to actually start and add it to the thread once I have something worth of the section). Mike: I can use part of that information but not actually all. Except as examples, numbers and buildings are to change a lot. But certainly City Building section can expand upon it. Aaaaaanyway, now more time to ac
Troops don't cost food. Let's keep it that way. Just increase wages for the logistics but don't mix them with food.
