You should be able to create new heroes outside the game, using the XML files. Create a Sovereign and edit the XML to make it a Champion. There is a tutorial by Frogboy somewhere. But inside the game? Nooope. Recruiting as many Champions as posssible... The pic doesn't include the 3 with my Sovereign (2 Channelers and a close combat specialist) and a few

Well, you can buy the bow for your Champions while you wait for the Archery Range.
Shouldn't this be stickied? Useful thread is useful.
I researched bows and designed a bowman unit but it would not appear on the list of units I can build. What is up with that?.
The Archery Range needs Archery, which depends on Fortifications, which depends on Training. Ranged Weapons, researchable quite before Archery itself, gives you bows but you cannot recruit units using them due to the lack of Archery Range (or until you research it).
So under 1.09n beta, population is a resource. I get the idea conceptually, I fail to see the point as executed. Presumably, I have X citizens available, able to work on building stuff. If they are building, they can't be drafted. Gotcha. Every building takes a certain number of citizens to create. Gotcha. Why is it that buildings q
Procipinee and Pariden have been always fine for me no matter how many games I start with them.
I would suppose that is to mean that you can build little outposts to capture resources and that if you really want them to grow into cities, you must use an additional food for the first hut. City spam control?
I'm going back to MS-DOS. Please make a compatible version. [e digicons]o_O[/e] Now seriously, unless you prepay thousands of copies that justify such expense (supposing that they could afford to do it anyway), the answer was/is/will_be: no. I see easier Stardock migrating to Sect Apple stuff than Linux.

Also, if you are going to use seasons shouldn't the world also reflect this? * Seasons also really don't help with the existing abstraction issues the game has. By that, I mean that many people had issues with abstracting a peasant unit as a single unit or representing multiple units which was further compounded with parties and squads. These issues make the game hard
However, I have a major problem with the statement that you would like EWoM to be a successor to MoM. You have a very long way to go. So heres a suggestion: Instead of spending another 10000 hours on creating more bugs for EWoM, buy the rights for MoM, rework the graphics and fix the worst imbalances. Don't touch anything else, you'll just add more bugs to it. I promise I'll buy a copy on release da

It NEEDS things like this to keep it CHALLENGING in the middle and end game. You're the reason why the majority of game suck because you want some kind of frickin BALANCE and there is a very small percentage of balanced AI's that can be challenging to experienced gamers like ME!. Clearly though the spell contest tells us the will be adding spells and I would think adding spells to the smaller spellbooks will be a priority. The Water spell book seems particularly light. The ZOC (Zone of Control) is the area under a civilization control (meaning some kind of presence by people, even if it's not constant). Prestige is how interesting a city is for possible new residents ("Hey! We have pubs and stuff!!"). The better infrastructure, the more likely that will people will want to live there. Now Champion's charisma is to be used to boost that Prestige (yay!), which doesn't mean that charisma is Prestige but that while being a city, it's abstrac
