[e digicons]XD[/e] Relax Denryu. We know.[e digicons]^_^[/e]
Wintersong
I agree with the original post but disagree with the title of the thread. I'd say that both as equally important in their own way. But that's just me.

I like the new option. I somehow would miss the no need to upgrade units anymore... But thinking about it, I only upgraded units in Civ IV and mostly never in Gal Civ II. I had lot less units in Civ IV too. Nevermind. Yay for Camp #3!
I'm not into heavy micro but I'd vote for 1. At least if it comes with good Governor system that can take the burden from me when I feel the need. In any case, it's difficult to choose becuase we are only offered one part of the picture. How will war work? And diplomacy? And magic? And spies? Complex systems for all of them and also with good Governor systems would seem promising as everybody could focus in the part of the game that they enjoy more and let the AI handle the rest
Heh, my point wasn't whether you like him or not, but that you'd know exactly who I was talking about. You and probably 95% of the people reading this i'd imagine
Yes, I know. Just that I cannot understand that fascination for that character. I can understand Drizzt's (early one at least), Darth Vader's, Wolverine's (exploited shamesly...),... but Sephirot??? At least it's not the worst character in a FF (like that one from FF
Unless you are a lucky cute dog and get into the alpha if it happens. In which case I suppose that you will be charged before the rest of mere mortals.
I'm more of a story guy than anything else so I like my games to have a (good) story if possible. So campaign option is nice. And if there is the possibility of having some kind of stories going on in the sandbox, even better. I'd enjoy greatly to be able to create my own campaign (heavy scripted to allow branching in its development during gameplay) but also to ministories happening in my game world. As a side note, i don't know what people sees in Sephirot. He just felt annoyin

In RTSs no one seems to want bots in their teams. Just ask in the DoW2 forum. The fact that the AI was dumb* is also responsible tough. *Right now improved but I doubt it'll ever be at the same level of those pro players.
but there are some folks here like Landisaurus, Wintersong, Pigeonpigeon, GW Swicord, and others who I think if they are not involved as early as possible you are doing yourself a disservice. Lottery? With my luck, I'm already out!!![e digicons]8O[/e] Now seriously, I must say that I totally agree with KeithLamothe about your commitment. If I could afford it (or when I can...) I'd buy all your products just for it. With people like ye, it's a pleasure to spend money. [e digicons]:X[/e] One thing about multiplayer. I'm not into it but that only Stardock can host the games makes me wonder something. What if Stardock banishes? Will it be ready for a patch, made

EI 8. I know that IE isn't the best (great laughs with the AcidTest... funny that this new version was supposed to be a lot more strict) so don't lecture me unless you want to be flamed. XD But for normal net browsing is more than enough. I use Firefox 3 for a few sites tough, including some threads in this forum that get screwed when someone uses weird fonts. O_o In my job I use IE 6, IE 7, Firefox 1.5, Firefox 2, Firefox 3, Opera 9.26 (I think), Safari (don't care about the sec
Awesome![e digicons][/e] Remember the Channeler and civilization editor, eh? Altough I know I don't need to mention it.[e digicons];)[/e] Talking about editors, have you planned if we will be able to try/test during the beta? Or will they be reserved for release? Considering how you add new material trough the mod tools maybe it'd be a good idea to let the players try to "break" them. And the Demigod team should take a very good and well deserved break. No one

Holy...[e digicons]:omg:[/e]
Whenever you find the time, it'd be nice to have some kind of update about that tentative Elemental development schedule. Not only to know how much waiting still for us but also to get a real idea of the impact of Demigod's MP in Elemental's development schedule. If you don't mind, that is.[e digicons]:pout:[/e]
Am I supposed to click the link just because?
Yeah, it was released many months ago... Wait, actually no. As one (of some) reference(s): https://forums.elementalgame.com/348462 No way the game can go from Alpha to Gold in one leap. And neither that they would release a beta without Frogboy (or BoogieBac) making a previous post to hype us to the max. Not counting that they are still too busy with Demigod.
If modding new races is easy, only humans at release won't be so bad (if you consider it bad, that is). Also, it's not like Stardock won't release their own non-human races later as well as more props and the like... About hit points, maybe some attacks should somehow bypass them (partially) depending of the situation. So if a mountain falls over a 1HP guy and a 100000HP guy, both die. About the rainbow, why should have Altaria the same colours as in the Earth? Maybe it has an
Fortunately for Stardock, altough all this mess with Demigod's MP is bad, it has the benefit of allowing Stardock to learn about MP which is something they really need/want. Be it for Elemental's MP (no matter how single palyer focused it is) and/or Society (and any other next game they develop or help with).
Imagine Chuck Norris as DRM for games: “This game is under the protection of Chuck Norris.”[e digicons]:O[/e]
