Yeah, this really bothers me. Beyond that -- the whole text entry system in GalCivII is terrible. I mean, I love the game, but it's not fun.

I've had this happen to me many times. I simply save and restart the game -- that usually works.
Really, the only thing I agree with you here on is that research happens too fast. That said, you are totally free to your opinion.
Those all sound like great ideas, Minor Race.
I'm fairly certain (but not absolutely) that you cannot convince a race to declare war on another if they have better-than-neutral relations with said race.
Now, why wouldn't you have a serial number?
I think what's confused him and me is that it's the Korx ambassador reading that, when I think you meant the Krynn.
Well, yeah, I gathered that.
Very very good so far. I'm a little confused as to what happened when he was finished speaking, however.
I have had this issue twice. First in a game where I found myself wondering happily why I was cleaning up so well early on -- the AIs were all set to "fool." It happened again when the Terrans became all-powerful in the second year. Intelligence that time? Ultimate. But only for them. Hmm.
I feel fluent with the shipyard, but a copy and paste function, a mirror function, and the ability to move an object along with those attached to it would be fantastic.
Also, I am aware that the sound doesn't work on this computer.
Here is an image of the issue. I am also having an issue where whenever I "use" a template and then attempt to save that template (as a template), the game crashes. Also, I'm using the most up-to-date version of Dark Avatar.
Textures on my Plasma II and III Cannons are missing for some reason. Specifically, there is either empty space between the roundish part of the gun and the blue tip of the barrel that fires the shots. Sometimes it's replaced with a black cylindrical model. I'd post a debug, but there don't seem to be any issues caused by this except for aesthetic ones. Still, any help would be appreciated.
My favorite is the Drath Legion. They have a sad back-story, and yet they are still good. They have excellent racial bonuses, and the idea of a manipulative race of beings capable of exercising an uncanny power of persuasion pleases the control-freak inside of me.
best game music: Total Annihilation and Heroes of Might and Magic II
Instead of commenting on this excellent game, I want to simply say "thanks" for buying wetland and not turning it into a parking lot.
I've seen them building oodles of resource starbases since DL.
nvidia doesn't care and Toshiba does not care so you are the only person I can complain to. Hmm. Hmmmmmm.
I was only playing to see what sort of scores I could get, and if my scores aren't going to be counted then I might as well stop playing. Your game was scored; you're just upset that it won't be posted to the metaverse. It sounds to me like you were only playing so that other people could see your highscores. You know you didn't cheat, and you know what your score actually was. So who cares?
The spoiler is in the title. Smooth.
So wait, if you don't have internet, you can't play it... how is that not DRM? If you don't have internet, as kryo pointed it out, you probably did not download it. If you did download it, then you probably should have bought a hardcopy for the sake of simplicity. I own a physical copy of Dread Lords. I do not recall ever doing anything beyond typing in the serial number once -- and I barely even reme
I'm impressed that you won; it looked like a very difficult game up until the end. I enjoyed it.
